(For background, Baskets is a sweet but strong French bulldog that ATTACKS her food with a vengeance. She typically eats so fast that she regurgitates right afterwards, so I was looking for a solution that elevated her bowls and would slow her eating down.) THE GOOD: I received my order promptly! The stand was easily to assemble, the mat fits tightly and securely over the stand, and the bowls' magnets are strong. Was really relieved that Trot's new owners were able to fulfill orders promptly. Construction of water bowl is super sturdy and it looks great in my kitchen. THE NOT-GREAT: The puzzle pieces on the puzzle bowl are not pressed so there are thin crevices where the pieces connect and I worry about bacteria and rust. Also my dog, a bully breed, really goes AFTER her food, and since she is flat-faced, the puzzle bowl was maybe too deep for her. So after a period of frustration, she quickly learned to detach the bowl from the mat and knock the whole bowl upside-down to get her meals. THE SOLVE: Trot is sending me a water bowl to replace the puzzle bowl. Since the water bowl is so large, my dog's food is able to be spread out, which slows her eating down a decent amount. And because my dog is not as frustrated while trying to eat, she doesn't knock down the bowl and make a mess. The magnet is strong enough to hold her bowl down steady as she eats.

Thank you ! We really appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. We are glad you like the bowls. We know the French bulldogs can get after it so your feedback and solution is a good one (and helpful for others). As quick note the welding is done underneath the bowl so the stainless still will never rust on the puzzle bowl. Thank you again for the support - we really appreciate it !

The dog bowl set I ordered is very nice. The product I ordered came in less than seven days. I was a little nervous when I read past reviews about the issues that this company had. I’m glad to see that they are doing well and have there business back on track.

This is definitely a new owner and they're doing a pretty great job. I ordered a medium canary set and everything is amazing quality. The stand, tray, bowls, and lids are all great. I received my bowls within a week. Customer service is great this time...they replaced my stand because I ordered the wrong size. The only issue is I thought the puzzle bowls were one solid piece and there are seams at the bottom, so food gets stuck. Wish I could post a picture. Also, make sure you pay attention to size. I think the only bowls available now are medium, which is perfect for my 65 pound pup.

So glad I gave it a 2nd chance. I was one of the people who originally ordered and found out the co. went bankrupt (I did get my $ back through my CC) . I was doubting my own sanity when I read the email from the new owners but they sounded sincere. Order was shipped super fast, I got the complete set in gray & it looks awesome! Better than that the bowls are very sturdy and even though we previously had a slow feeder this slows her down even better. I also really appreciate the notch thingies that keep the bowls from sliding around and the fact I can chuck the mat & bowls in the dishwasher! Very pleased I gave them a second chance.

Rebounding from bankruptcy, I was a little hesitant because ‘new’ ownership company used a lot of old photos and verbiage in new introduction. But because of new ownership reaching out to me and offering discount I decided to give it another try. I am glad I did! It arrived timely and is a wonderful product. Thank you Trot Pets!
