All of the medications in our pharmacy are purchased from licensed wholesale pharmacies in the United States and manufactured by FDA-approved manufacturers. In addition to certain brand name drugs, we carry many of the same generic manufacturers dispensed by CVS, Walgreens, and other large pharmacies. Medication from a specific manufacturer may not work for all patients due to differences in inactive ingredients (fillers/binders) affecting absorption, genetic variations in drug metabolism, and individual physiological differences. While active ingredients are equivalent, variations in brand-name vs. generic, or manufacturer-specific formulations (like extended-release mechanisms), can cause differences in efficacy or side effects.
