They allowed standing water to sit unmentioned or repaired until priceless items, including those belonging to my late item, of mine became too damaged to save. They now refuse to give me or my insurance any documentation to settle my renter's insurance claim, even telling me directly to my face "well you should have gotten our insurance."

I stopped in at the greenwood edgefield location and Joyce was exceptional!!! Her customer service was out this world. She took time and gave me all the information I needed. Felt very comfortable with her she was so friendly and awesome!!! Will highly recommend!!! Great experience!!!

Giving a one star was the least I could give I would have opted for zero Stars. I do not recommend this company in any way. I reserved a large unit on their company website for my location. That same morning I traveled to the location to look at the storage unit and where it was located on the property. A gentleman came in after me and apparently was inquiring about the same size unit. After viewing the unit I explained to the manager that I would let her know within 15 minutes if I was going to fulfill my reservation as I needed to confirm with my husband who was not present. I did call the manager back in the said above said time and told her the reservation was a go and that I would fulfill the fees online as soon as we got off the phone. I immediately went to the payment option on my reservation entered all of my information and it would not complete the transaction as it kept giving me an error message. So I drove back down to the location, which at that time the door was locked and the manager was sitting in their car in the parking lot. I wait to her she explained to me she was on her lunch so I waited 20 minutes in the parking lot. Her lunch break was over and we went in the office I told her that I was unable to complete the payment online and explain the error message. She then proceeds to tell me that the gentleman who came in behind me that morning immediately paid for the unit I had reserved as soon as I left. Now mind you all of my contact information was on my reservation. She never attempted to contact me or tell me that when I called letting her know I was taking it per my reservation. I was very upset I asked to speak with a manager. Which of course there was not one available I asked for a corporate number and was able to speak to a district/regional manager. He told me that the reservation did not hold the unit that it was first come first serve. The manager did offer me 2 units across from one another to accommodate the size unit I originally reserved. He also waived my administration fees of $29.99. However, when it came time to sign the contract the employee in the office did not know how to waive my administration fees so I had to pay them in cash and she said they would be removed from my next month rent. She also explained to me that since it was the end of the day on the 31st and rent is due on the 1st I just might receive a message telling me that my fees are due and if I do to call her and she will correct it as she did not know how to change the start of my rental, which on my original reservation I listed move-in date as the first of August, I did indeed receive a message that my fees were due however she was not in the office for the next 2 days. When I finally reached her she argue with me and explain to me that even though it was the 31st rent is still due on the 1st of the month at that point I was over it. They locked my gate code so I could not even access my I still have never accessed my units but I received five calls a day from them telling me my fees are due. At this point I'm waiting for a court date.

I stored items in the DC location. My experience would have been significantly better with clear, consistent communication and professional customer service. I followed the move-out instructions provided by the manager, completed the move-out before the stated deadline, and expected the unit to be inspected and my account closed that day. Instead, I continued receiving bills and notifications because the required inspection was never completed. In addition, I expected to be treated respectfully when I called for assistance. Being talked over, having the call disconnected, and not having subsequent calls answered was frustrating and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I also found it unreasonable that my family, including an elderly relative with health concerns, was denied access to the restroom during the move-out process. A timely inspection, accurate account closure, courteous communication, and consistent application of policies would have made this a much more positive experience.

Amy was great! I think this world needs more people like her. With everything she had going on she was able to tackle the issue and she did it with a smile. I will not go anywhere else for my storage needs. Thanks Amy!

Sanford-Lake Mary Fl. rent INCREASE without warning, issues with security gates all the time all hours of the night and day remaining broken for months. difficulties with customer service regarding OVERCHARGING. Increase in the rent Twice this year already is ridiculous!

We were highly dissappointed when after 3 months our rent went from $44.00 to $115. From one month to the next without warning or notification. We had moved in to this unit because our rent skyrocketed at the place we were in, so I was very inquisitive starting at our first telephone call, as to when our rent would go up here. It was a very secretive under the breath "I don't know". I asked a ton of questions because I didn't want this to happen to me again. It did. We left. I rented a unit for $40 A month for 8 years and they never raised the rent, not once, but I moved and took my storage unit with me. I always pay my rent on time. I was shocked and disgusted at the greed, and the place has steps to boot!

This self storage company is the worst! Trust me; stay away. The owner obviously needs the money and I kid you not… I don’t think it will be long before they completely go under for how they treat there tenants. Furthermore, I don’t feel this is a secure storage space as anyone could just simply walk right after someone else and enter the facility. Also they only seem to care about inflating prices and unnecessary fees that they randomly tack on that I’m sure is just used for the owner to indulge. They just do not seem to care about your stuff, just your money. Stay away from this space if you are smart .
