I was solicited by mail with "YOU ARE PRE-APPROVED FOR A PERSONAL LOAN FROM LIFT LENDING" along with an offer code. Accordingly, I called and asked the fellow that answered if this was a debt consolidation program and that if it was then I wasn't interested (because my low credit score is purely a result of my 40% credit utilization) and I just wanted to get a personal loan to get my credit score back up faster than I'm already doing that myself. His response was that they had many options and it would depend on the information that came back. Then he took my DOB and SSN. That right there told me that I hadn't actually been preapproved as the solicitation stated and that they were probably, primarily, a debt consolidation company. He then told me that he had good news that because of my income, I qualified for one of their premier lending partners. I was then transferred to a company called "Nationwide Loan Consultants," who emailed me a contract, which would give them the authority to apply for loans on my behalf and to pay them 11% of the loan as a finders fee. I declined. This review is made in the spirit of give and take, and the review is given in exchange for the 15 minutes of my time that they took from me today.

Huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Struggling every month to just make minimum payments on credit cards only to realize that there is not even a little dent made. Felt like I was drowning in debt. Ryan was very empathetic and patient through this entire process.
