HireRightReviews of hireright.com

Worst company ever. Incompetent and unprofessional. If a company is using them please RUN as fast as possible. I never want to deal with Hireright ever. Background has been at 85% for weeks with them telling me lie after lie. Horrible company!

If I could give it a zero I would but it wasn’t an option . 21 days I have been waiting for 1 parish , I take it upon my self after being told by HireRite “ it is the parish who keeps extending the completion date” I drive over an hour to this place to find out they have never received a request , I checked with the sheriffs department criminal records as well as the local city none of the 3 received any request for me. The Clerks office reaches out to them to ask where to send the request and let them know something is wrong on their end because they never received the request , this person on the other end of the phone would not listen to her when she asked to speak to a supervisor they refused . She did not want personal information she wanted a location of where to send this check too. This company does not care if people are in a financial bind as they draw things out . And when asked at what point do you stop changing the date . My start date has been pushed 3 times now . And the language barrier is beyond real.

The reviews say enough. I am currently going through the process now and entering the 4th week. I have never seen such poor performance from a company that does background checks and 90% seems automated. If one thing doesn't seem to line up, instead of common sense, they send you back to the start to repeat what you have already submitted.

I am currently in the process of a HireRight pre-employment back ground check and they are basically having me do all the work. I have had to upload multiple items, multiple times, because they are unable to do their job correctly. They claim to be unable to verify previous employment. They will request a certain item, then when I upload the exact item requested they say it’s wrong. I even called and waited on hold for over 30 mins to ensure I was uploading the correct, requested item (which I did) and even verified it was correct before hanging up, only to be told the next day via email it was the incorrect item. It’s frustrating to say the least. It makes me question the companies that use this HireRight.

Writes fake reviews about other businesses

This company is basically evil. They're making me send scans of legal documents by POST to some lawyer. If those legal documents got in the wrong hands, someone can easily take a loan in my name, for example. This is unsafe and forcing me to do it is bordering on illegal. Especially considering the fact that getting my criminal records and verifying their validity can be done in a much simpler way (through government portals), does not need a third party lawyer, and definitely DOES NOT need me sending scans of my ID by post. The whole background check is intrusive, they require documents going back 7 years that I don't even have anymore, why the hell do you need proof of all places where I lived in the last 7 years? I feel like all my privacy was violated for no reason. Why do you need contact for the principal of my high school?? After this background check, I will never ever accept any other position in a company that works with HireRight. And I will discourage each and every company I work for or come in contact with from working with HireRight.

It is scam place, defaming fake information, shared defaming information never verified, fake costumer service.
