I recently had a two week experience with Hire Right for my new Legal Research Post which finalised through this services. I must admit that the employment clearance process was different to what I am use to. However, I found it highlighted how important keeping a good and to hand record of employment documents is. I can see why a company would use their services and I found the Hire Right Staff to be helpful once you clarify information and any discrepancies. If they do ask for information or documentation its possible the instructions come from the hiring company.

GT-011923-AA532 I am currently going through vetting and will use this review as a live update. Seeing previous reviews I am extremely worried about the vetting company. 19 Jan: Vetting started, and I received an email link to upload information for vetting (addresses & employment). The website is very simple to use and quick to update information within. One major flaw is the fact the reference contact details only allows phone number, no email. Most HR companies don’t respond to reference requests by phone. Therefore, I had to email starting that I uploaded reference contact details as part of a document submission . Documents I had to upload: HMRC Payslip CV Passport Driving License Certificates Following this, I emailed the vetting team to make them aware that all documents were uploaded, and requested they reviewed all documents before contacting me. I received a response within 10 mins confirming they could see all requested documents had been uploaded, and that they would now request DBS. 25 Jan Received a request for further information. However, this did not come as an email or alert me! Just happened to be the case that I was logged in. The information requested I am surprised they were not able to request themselves. 27 Jan Complete. I feel the service is fast if you prepare all your documents in advance. I have so far given 4 due to speed of response, clarity of information on emails instructions and speed of email replies. I have removed one star as the portal does not alert you to request for information.
