The vet was on-time for the appointment! It was so easy and convenient. It was less stressful on our dogs since we didn't have to make a trip to the vet.

Very happy with my purchase of Dutch Vet. Well worth the cost, you can get treatment for anything that would not require an in-person vet visit. Such as stitches, broken bones, blood work, things of that nature. Where a person would actually have to touch the animal. Appointments are very easy to make. My dog had to see one of the vets for an eye infection. He was prescribed some medication, when he was done with it his eye infection was all gone.😊♥️ just spoke with another vet today with some questions on one of my other dogs and she was very helpful. In my opinion it is well worth the cost and more people should be trying this service because I would really hate to see it go away.

I signed up for Dutch because I read they had the ability to get same day prescriptions. I double checked and was told yes I could get them same day. I couldn’t get into my local vet til tomorrow so I paid $100 for the service and went to make my appt. The first available was four hours away. I wait for my appt and have a glitchy few minute long zoom call with the vet. My dog is prone to ear infections and I just wanted to be able to pick up the drops that have worked for him in the past as soon as possible. The vet assures that I can have the drops sent to my local pharmacy. I hang up the call and immediately go to transfer the prescription. It says it takes 2-3 days and extra fees to transfer the prescription. Even paying for expedited shipping wouldn’t get the drops to me for 4-5 days. My dog is in pain. I message the vet and she tells me to make an appt with a local vet if I want same day prescriptions. I cancelled my membership to dutch but it has already charged me for the full year. I end up using Vetster instead and I get the prescription within a couple of hours. All in all, Dutch was a waste of a day worth of effort and $100.

Thank you for sharing this, and we're sorry for the frustration, especially with your dog in pain and prone to those ear infections. We want to clarify how a few things work so it's more transparent. First, Dutch is a yearly subscription service, which is why the membership charged for the full year at sign-up. We do offer prescription transfers to a local pharmacy, and while we aim to process most transfer requests within 24 hours, we quote 1 to 3 days because we can't guarantee the medication's availability at your local pharmacy, and requests are processed in the order they arrive. One important thing: Dutch is designed for preventative and non-urgent care rather than emergency situations, so when a pet needs relief immediately, an in-person option is often the faster route. We've escalated your case and will get your membership refunded, and we hope your pup is feeling much better now.

When my own local Vet closes for the weekend and an important health issue arises, I am not going to wait until Monday! Dutch Vet is there for me any day of the week. My experience was top tier with Dr. Kolstad. She was patient, kind and understanding. Her solution is working and my pet is finally eating and thriving. When I called my own Vet on Monday to schedule a follow-up and X-rays, I was scheduled two weeks out as the soonest available. Dutch Vet provided me care in one day, and my meds delivered with free shipping within 4 days. Follow-ups are immediate, too! Happy customer, happy dogs. Thank you!

I am a new customer. I have had one appointment for both dogs. I thought the Vet was AMAZING! Truly. Only negative, is that there are so many emails and text messages for an upcoming appointment and further follow-up emails and text messages for products. I have flea/tick medicine already... I state that in the Pet Medical bio... but they will still send messages that it's 'overdue'.
