The service is great. I loved the Dr. but by the time I receive the medication I won’t need it anymore. I paid extra for express shipping and it still takes 3 days.

Really super easy, so much better and cheaper than going to my vet. The doctor was incredibly kind and completely understood my pet’s needs.

The service they provide is convenient, but there’s a lot of things that should be improved about the capabilities. If you have multiple pets, it’s impossible to coordinate their care with one veterinarian. You have to begin by randomly getting the first available vet and if you like that provider, there’s no way to assign them to your other animals. You also cannot see multiple pets in one visit or create back-to-back appointment slots or even two appointments on different days. you must complete one visit before being allowed to create another. This is super limiting. I’m a healthcare worker myself and continuity of care for families is essential. you’re failing in this.

My only experience with Dutch is and will ever be the marketing email I just got: “Subject: i hate the car. please stop. From: your cat Smidgen (this is your cat Smidgen talking) ͏[via care AT care DOT dutch] hi. it’s me. your cat Smidgen quick question for you why do we keep going to that place where I shake, you say 'it’s okay,' and then someone looks in my ears and we leave $300 poorer? i don’t even have fleas right now. (i might soon though. just saying.) apparently… there’s another option. you stay home i stay calm and a real vet still helps me it’s called dutch can we try that next time? get me meds without the car ride thanks. – your cat Smidgen” why was this so upsetting to me? Firstly because other than my vet, I can’t think of anywhere my information is out there with my pets’ names that would have been sold; but mainly because “my cat Smidgen” died of intestinal lymphoma in November of 2024, he DID in fact hate the car, and putting him in it to go for an ultrasound he didn't come home from – again because he did, in fact, hate the car, and it would have been more stressful on both of us to bring him home and back so I could say goodbye - was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. So when this hit my email it wasn’t cute, or funny, and didn’t make me want to use Dutch for anything. It made me freeze for moment upon seeing an email from….my dead cat? My beloved happy boy that cancer stole? And then brought back one of the most upsetting memories of my entire life, listening to “my cat, Smidgen” wailing all the way to the vet on his last car ride until I picked up his ashes. So I can’t speak to the service, but this is a 0/10 marketing strategy. I don't know where you got my info but you didn't think this campaign through.

Quick and knowledgeable vet on call with me. my prescription through Dutch cost $21. Online it would have cost me $200.

In my lifestyle Zoom calls have not been used or needed ., so I was a bit nervous about setting up and using this format. The setup was pretty straight forward / easy and the call itself was even easier . This service / Dutch is incredibly useful in my case,my Pet is in great health and…the only vet I’ve used for 40 years retired and i am not comfortable nor do I particularly trust or like the replacement. This service was a blessing for me and my Bro … Brodie , I will and do recommend Dutch to anyone with a pet. Integrity matters and Dutch has it in Spades so far !!
