Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

I ordered 1 filet, 1 ribeye, hot dogs, bacon, buffalo burger and soup bones. The steaks were amazing! The hot dogs were surprisingly delicious! I am not a fan of the bacon, too salty for me. I have not tried the burger and soup bones yet but will share my opinion when i do.

I am pleased with the ordering and the product I received. However some of the vacuumed sealed packages were damaged and they leaked blood all over the box. The damaged packages were also more prone to freezer burn.

Really loved the burger and the hot dogs, the brats on the other hand were a disappointment to an extent. I loved the taste, but they left a very thick tallow taste in my own, and my wife's mouth, for about 30 mins afterwards. Did not like that and accordingly so, will not order those again. The after taste did not go away until I brushed my teeth later in the evening. Like I said, I really liked the hot dogs and burger, even the taste of the brats, just not the lingering after taste. Will order burger and dogs again. Enjoyed them.

The fact that I live in a small town where buffalo meat sounds mythological astounds me everyday. After over 8 years with no immediate access to such a wonderful product of nature-I found this company and ordered. To my relief, the package arrived on time for me to serve to my family. Thank you so much!

I first heard about Wild Idea Buffalo many years ago from a food scientist. I was interested in grass-fed meat for health reasons. Grain feed changes the nature of animal fat, and not in a good way. I've been buying buffalo meat from Wild Idea ever since. The meat is always excellent, tastes wonderful, and is delivered promptly and in good condition, usually still frozen solid as a rock. Can't speak highly enough of this company.

The meat is so tender and juicy. Wild Idea buffalo is absolutely delicious and I can cook it any way I want. Knowing that it is better for us than beef is the icing on the cake. Fast delivery, great customer service. Love Wild Idea.
