In 2005 Shapeez co-founder Staci Berner was determined to find a supportive yet comfortable bra that didn’t solve one problem and caused another. After trying everything on the market and being completely disillusioned and disappointed with all of them, she took matters into her own hands. I have bought this company's bra and loved it My recent experience is terrible The cup size is correct but the company has scrimped on the fabric of the bodice. It's very much smaller I order the same I have not changed they have Buyer beware

Absolutely the worst customer service! I received a defective bra, wore it once and informed Shapeez that I needed a replacement. I had to pay for the replacement. This started back in the fall. I received the replacement and it is fine, however now we are into February and they won’t replace the defective bra because it is beyond the return date. Again the process began well ahead of the return date window. They use the dates to get out of standing by their product. There are so many amazing shape-wear companies out there. Please don’t waste your money and time with this poorly run company!

First let me say we are so happy you have loved your Shapeez bras over the years and we value you as a customer. The bra in question was a SILKEE TANKEE in size Large D from an order placed in Fall of 2021. You reached out to us last week wanting to exchange this bra because it was too small and that it must be defective. We asked if you have worn this garment and you replied "yes". We looked at your order history and we see that you have since ordered the 1XD Silkee Long numberous times. The Large D is 2 sizes smaller in cup and body compared with our 1XD and that is why the Large D does not fit properly and is not defective. Just the wrong size. Although we can not exchange your Large D because it has been worn {due to hygenic reasons}, we did provid you with a 15% off discount code to use for a future order so that you may purchase another item in your correct size of 1XD. I really like these bras but do think they are a little expensive. In addition, the company doesn't offer free shipping and most of all the underwire pops out after about 3 wears. I used the companies measurement guide and common sense and even went up a cup size and they still poke out. The second I find a dupe I will be changing

When I Google bra for back fat support, this came up. I would love to try this bra but these reviews are concerning as well as the responses. Too expensive to experiment on online. Is there a store in Miami?

Hi Karyne, Thank you for your interest in Shapeez bras. I would suggest doing a google search on Shapeez to see thousands of glowing reviews. As with any company, you will always find some negative reviews from people, but most of these negative reviews are based on customers not ordering the correct size, wearing the item and then wanting to return the worn garment which we are not able to do due to hygienic reasons. I've worn the Ultimate and Tankee for years without issue in size medium-c. I recently ordered two new tankees and though my old tankee fits like a dream I couldn't get in the new tankees. I paid to send them back and reordered large-c and a note to check if their size changed. They called and assured me the size didn't change and also told me I needed a large-B not a large-C. I reminded them that the cups felt too small and was assured the cups would be wider on the large. When I received the large-b it went on easy but the cups felt tight so I figured it was because they were new. After a few weeks I did a mirror compare and the new cups are different than my old cups. When I showed those photos to customer service they said they do their best to fit us. Their sizing is hard to understand as it is (a large-B cup is the same size as a medium-C cup). They also have styles that run a size larger or size smaller. Yet we have to pay for returns when they don't fit, or worse as in my case, get stuck with two expensive bras that I can't wear. You could not make finding our size any more difficult Shapeez.

Hi Joan, Shapeez prides ourselves on customer service and we do our best to help each customer find the correct size and style. Because the Medium did not match your CURRENT upper chest measurement, it was too small. The Large is great on you from the photos you sent but the B cup was too small. Our fit specialist that worked with you did her best to suggest the size Large B for your exchange but as we discussed, the B cup was actually too narrow for you in the TANKEE STYLE per the photos you sent. We thought you were exchanging your Large B for the Large C as we explained the Large C would fit better. Just size up to the Large C as we explained in our emails to you yesterday and you'll have a great fit. The Large C actually matches your regular bra size too. Also the Ultimate style will fit a bit larger than the Tankee style which may have an impact on the fit of the cup on some people. Just to summarize.. Your measurements fit the LARGE. Stick with that body size in any new garments and the cup would be the C. Feel free to reach out to me personally for fit advice or questions regarding styles. I bought a Shapeeze tankee long bra in September, it is now November and I honestly hate it. When was sized and fitted in store it did fit but after a while of wearing it my breasts slip under the underwire and I am constantly adjusting myself. I will never buy another bra like this. Its just a gimmick

From the description, the size you purchased is too large for your torso therefore not tight enough to pull the underwires into the chest wall for the correct support and that is why your breasts feel like they are not being supported. If the size ordered is too large for your actual upper chest measurement, the bra will be too loose to offer the proper support. Purchased their very expensive tankee short bras on several occasions, as ordering online from the UK can only afford to buy when they have a discount. The tankee short style/size is not available from amazon.co.uk or any other UK website, and the shipping costs are equally expensive. The downside is if you have a defective bra, the factory no longer repairs them, and you are advised to fix them with fabric, stitching and super glue. For the price of these bras, I would expect repairs or replacements. If they are of a good quality, you are fine, if not, consider if it's really worth the costly expense.

Just be sure you don't have to exchange for another size. Customer service thought I should pay $10 original shipping, then $10 to return it and then $10 for shipping the new size. Really $30 shipping and they had no realization that it was unreasonable and could care less.

Hi Cynthia, Shapeez offers a FREE first exchange which gives you a chance to try another size. We never charge a customer to ship a new size out if it is their first exchange. This is a free service.
