Motor came in barely strapped to a pallet, had a smashed valve cover and when I started it the water pump leaked everywhere, had to get a new one and the service rep said it wasn't covered since it bolted onto the engine, pretty sure most parts on an engine are bolted on!

the process of getting an engine from sw engines took way too long, then the "tested' engine arrived, and assuming everything was alright, my technician installed the engine only to find out it was siezed, had to remove the engine and wait for a replacement to be sent. The second engine arrived much more quickly than the original and other than the leaking exhaust manifold, it had no problems. sw engines wouold not cover my time to install the replacement motor, or give me any credit towards labor after sending me a defective engine.

The process went well, as I have noted this was the first time I purchased a used motor on line. My mechanic suggested surfing the web for a low mileage used motor to replace mine, rather then rebuilding my existing motor. to date I have driven approximately 1500 miles on the replacement motor and all is well to date. the question, would I do this again? Yes I would and I am very pleased with the service from SW Engines to date.

It took 3 weeks to get the engine. The engine smokes. Burns oil and the engine light stays on. If I could do it over again I would leave the old engine in the car. It didn't smoke or burn oil. If you buy an engine from this company make sure you understand the warranty . They say they will replace the engine but not the labor if there is something wrong with their engine. I would not buy another engine from this company.

So far since I have had my engine, I have not had any problem with it. I would like to say that this is a very good and honest company. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a engine for there automobile even a truck to since I have had a great experience so far. Thank you so kindly and keep on being better than the rest.

Recieved the engine which was very clean, had to change intake and plugs the air tube ports mine didn't have. Also had a broken ext manifold bolt in the head which I had to drill out. So far am please with it other wise.

Pic of engine sent to me was nothing like the engine I got.I was told engine was inspected. Its been few weeks and engine has rod knocks and nothing is done about it...what's the warranty for then.. order #246773
