i ordered several products the eagle eyes sunglasses were good; however the binoculars were junk (some thing you could buy at a toy store for $5.00 and the luxury leather wallet was worth about $10.00. I no long have any faith in the Stauer products.

The customer service is ok and the products are okay. However, their shipping and handling costs are too high. When you think you are getting a bargain on their price, the high shipping and handling costs make the purchase unreasonable in my opinion. Therefore, I did not continue finalizing a purchase, although I have purchased some items in the past.

This letter I sent to their CEO explains it all: Dear Sir, Attached you will find an email I sent to you on July 22. I'm disappointed I heard nothing back from you on this matter. That disappointment does not match my disappointment with Stauer on each step of this purchase. Here are the highlights or perhaps I should call them lowlights. I placed an order 10 days in advance of my wife's birthday. In the age of spectacular service by Amazon, one tends to think that is plenty of time to receive merchandise from a capable supplier. This date was July 12th. Having not received a confirmation I called on July 13th. The customer service agent told me the product I ordered was on backorder. She told me she would place me as a priority and that I could be assured it would arrive by July 22nd. Having heard nothing by July 17th, I called back once again. This time they said it would not be delivered till the end of the month. - Nine days later than I was gold before. On July 22, I sent you an email. About that time I started receiving emails from customer service telling me it was on backorder. They never told me that my order was on priority or anything. On July 24, I received an email from customer service telling me that my order had shipped. The email also said it could take 24 hours for shipping information to show. I checked each day to get shipping information and it took till late evening on July 28th for it to show shipping information. At that point it indicated that it had shipped from Illinois. I checked with your customer service via email to see why shipping information was not updating within the 24 hours indicated in your email. The responses were incredibly poor and contained no useful information. One response was simply a one word response that in no way answered my question I know and understand running a business is not easy and relying on employees can often lead to less than satisfactory results. This is why I reached out to you. I know and have been in a position where people try to shield executives from problems in the business. Part of my reason for writing the letter was to keep you from being shielded. If someone were to ask me if I would do business with Stauer again, my answer would be a firm no! In my experience, communications are poor to nonexistent and commitments are not met with no explanation. If you reach out to the CEO, your letter gets handed down rather than being addressed head on. In one of my emails back to customer service, I asked if you would be responding. They said no, that communications like this were handed down to the responsible departments. This told me essentially that you don't communicate direct with customers which I think is a sad state of affairs.

Stauer seems to have gone downhill since I started using them years ago. I wanted to order one item that could fit in a small package and they want $24.99 for shipping as well as a mandated $5.95 insurance on the item which only costs $29. I did order something as a gift and had it sent directly to my daughter and I’m hoping it actually arrives after reading some of the poor reviews. I am looking elsewhere for items now. I have trouble with their website wanting to sign in but need a new password but I get a message after leaving my email that they will send me a new password page if I am in their system. I don’t get any message so I try to get a new login but I get a message that my email is already registered with them. Too many issues.

Good lord people. I bought four pieces of jewelry. I got emails saying that I had purchased them and that they shipped. Nothing was said that they were backordered or that they were out of my size. I got an email a week later saying one of the rings I ordered was no longer available. really? it was available when I ordered it and it’s still on their online catalog as available. I sent this to them and I got a response saying that they do their best hardy Har Har to keep things updated and then they notified me that one of my other rings was back ordered. really? why didn’t you notify me when I ordered it that it would be backordered that way I could make the choice to either pick another ring or not get it at all. With a rip off

Bought a Men's Legendary Dragon Ring SKU #WB583. The ring broke out my finger with a red rash. Stauer refunded all my money. I am happy for that instance. Have bought many items of jewelry and watches and knives. Most of the items have been good. I have had some watches that the plating has come off.Overall pretty satisfied with most items. Still buying from Stauer. I have had to send some items back, but Stauer usually makes things right.

Never received an email or text receipt of my purchase today, can you get me one please?

Been ordering Stauer jewelry for awhile. I am usually very happy with them, however; purchased a ring for $149 and have had it barely 2 months and the so called gold finish wore off. I asked since I'm a member, if they could send a replacement I was told that they don't have the ring anymore. But I went in and was able to place an order for the same ring. So I am highly disappointed. I'm questioning now whether once reliable company has gone the way with the dodo bird. Not sure if I will be resigning up as a member going forward.
