I've been on tremfya for years I've the same rx insurance,my company switched to Smithrx this last summer and omg what a headache and now being with them for three months now I've been denied my tremfya, I'm due for my shot and now I'm not knowing when I will get it,terrible company I wouldn't recommend this insurance company to my worst enemy!!!

I have been filling a prescription for my husband at Costco for over a year. My copay was 10.00. SmithRX decided that in order to continue coverage, I have to use their coupon, after that, the copay will be 20.00! But, my pharmacy we have been using for 30 years doesnt take their coupon. If I opt out from using the coupon, ALL medications will be denied!! Wth???

Complete joke. Doesn’t pay for any brand name medicines or anything that came out after 1990. People like me with chronic conditions can’t get their medicine. Of course HR departments love it because it’s super cheap while the employees who pay for the coverage have to suffer. Thanks SmithRX, thanks for not covering a damn thing!

My dr spent over 10 hours on the phone with them, and me another 5, to get a specialty medication covered by them. I needed it in 1 day, and they kept pulling reasons out of their ass on why we would have to wait 30+ business days. For example, our pharmacy said to request medication A, and to state that if they rejected medication A, medication B would also be acceptable. That's what my dr did, and SmithRx said that the dr was requesting 2 of the same medication and then they denied both. Every time my dr requested to talk to the care team, the customer service reps said no one is allowed to contact the care team, and the only way to contact them was to submit an appeal and wait 15 business days. So we asked for them to at least tell us which medication—A or B—was covered, and they refused. So we'd have to guess, and if we got it wrong, then the appeal would be denied and we'd have to wait all over again. Was just awful.

Terrible company. They think they are doctors. Will not help. Wait forever to get anything done. They just say no with no alternatives. Pathetic. Not interested in the health of patients.

I cannot believe the absolute incompetence of everyone at SmithRx! They did not set my deductible correctly for this year, ignoring my employer's direction to update it. Instead of admitting their fault, they have spent months gaslighting me, my employer, and our insurance brokers with fake numbers they pull out of nowhere, refuse to give any explanation for where those numbers are coming from, and just keep saying "this is what it is". It is now June and this issue has been going on since the first of January. It is affecting my medical insurance payments as SmithRx is reporting the wrong deductible information to insurance and no one at SmithRx wants to take responsibility for it or even attempt to fix it. The sheer level of incompetence by every single employee there is astounding!

It's really a 0 stars cause Smith Rx sucks

I have been in the business for nearly 30 years and SmithRx is honestly the best vendor I have ever worked with. They have an incredibly knowledgeable service team that never hesitates to go the extra step to help my team and my clients. In an industry that is frustrating more often than not, it is refreshing to have a PBM that you can rely on as the "good guy".
