My sitter was AMAZING! I have actually used her twice in July alone and I would use her again. She sent me updates each time she was with the animals and it was a huge relief to know they were taken care of both times I was gone. My one cat was super stressed out being in a boarding place last summer so having her come to them was so much easier and everyone was happy. I have recommended pawshake to 2 other people in the past week alone. Thank you so much!

In general the Pawshake service is really good, however, there are a few issues: 1. When I make a proposed booking Pawshake take the money from my credit card IMMEDIATELY, they don't wait for the Sitter to confirm (despite what there email and website says) 2. If the booking is not confirmed, the refund takes a few days to come back to the credit card (they get the use of the money and interest for that time). 3. If booking in advance (a few weeks or months), then they still take the money. They should only take the money 1-2 weeks before the booking is scheduled to occur. 4. Some of the Sitters are unreliable, even lacking to communicate if a booking is requested or after a booking has been confirmed and is due to start. Pawshake needs to hold the Sitters to a higher level of professionalism and responsibility (there almost 20% 'fee' certainly would allow for this) To reiterate, the service is great, most of the sitters are good but the office and accounting practices need a serious overhaul. ps. The excuse given for holding the money in advance is just not good enough. It does not create trust fro your customers, in fact it creates dis-trust because you are holding the funds for no good reason well in advance of the requirement. Please do not excuse from the Sitters perspective, without the customer the Sitters would have nothing to do.

We couldn’t have found anyone better than Cassandra to feed our two cats. We had no worries about leaving them in her care, we could tell that she truly loved animals. In future we would have no hesitation in using Pawshake again.

Good website/app to find a pet sitter or to offer your own pet sitting services. It is quite easy to use and seeing other people's reviews of sitters helps to put your mind at ease when trusting a stranger to take care of your pet(s) and home.
