We booked Amanda through Pawshake to help us out with caring for our cat while we were away for a long weekend. We required a carer who was very confident with cats and experienced in administering medication as our cat bruce has a heart condition and needs medicine daily. The whole experience went off without a hitch. Booking through Pawshake was a breeze and Amanda cared for Bruce like her own cat. We had daily updates and photos to show he was happy and healthy. We will book again next time we need to go out of town.

I had a very nice experience with our catsitter from Pawshake. She took a very good care of our cat. She sent us videos of him everyday, which was charming and lovely and he was completely relax when we went back after being away for almost 2 weeks. Also, when I looked for a catsitter I found the app very well done and I felt confidant and secured by the official website and system - I had some guarantee in regards to the pet sitters’s skills and reliability. I will use it again next time when we leave and I will recommend it to my friends who have pets.

In general pretty good. But very difficult to find sitters at short notice arising out of emergency conditions. Sitters just respond saying they are unavailable even if the calendar is open for pet sitting days. I have also had a cancellation on really short notice (2 days before sitting period began) when I had booked sufficiently in advance. I did not receive any support from pawshake with finding another host and had to make alternate arrangement myself. As an expat in this country, that can be very challenging. At least I received the full refund amount on time.

My first time using Pawshake I was happy to find detailed reviews, location of sitters, and an ability to make a quick and easy connection with someone to look after my cat.
