One Reverse Mortgage is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and our loan program is insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). It was a very confusing process without much clarification help. First contact was great then I was passed off to others who didn’t clarify some details.

The experience has been much better than anticipated. Matthew and Abby were professional and provided information as the process progressed. Matthew called a couple of times just to see how I was doing.

It was a rough go but all employers were very professional and helpful. Kept me calm with all the frustration I felt at times.

This has been the most exasperating experience dealing with One Reverse. The idea that this company will attempt to gouge elderly people out of the equity in their homes is inconceivable. Overcharging on the interest rates to line their own pockets???? For most of us this is what is substantially left for the rest of our lives and for a company to take advantage of the lack of finance knowledge for most should be illegal. Fortunately I have been in finance for a good part of my life and was able to detect what they were attempting to accomplish on their behalf. I will be filing a complaint with concerned government agencies and my elected officials to see if the horrible practice cannot be reversed. BEWARE!!!!!!!
