When choosing a lender, it’s important to work with the best! Founded in 2001, our company has grown to become the largest retail reverse mortgage lender in America*.It’s also important to work with a lender that has credentials. One Reverse Mortgage is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and our loan program is insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). Companies approved by both the FHA and HUD must follow strict guidelines that help protect consumers. We also have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and are a member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA).BlogAbout UsWhere We LendContact Us

I worked with Bruce Mangrum, Melanie Orellana and Jason Knopsnider. . All were professional, polite and knowledgeable about the loan process, they took time to address my questions and concerns about this option, and never 'rushed me off the phone'. My phone calls were answered promptly. Thank you to everyone I had contact with.

My review of OneMortgage is "Overall, VERY GOOD". 1. One point of concern is wire transfer details. I ended up talking to more than one of your folks about this. I am not sure who. When I was about to leave for Mexico and was trying to verify receipt of the wire transfer, I was unable to do so because it hadn't been sent yet. Turns out that when you folks gave me the wire #, it meant that it had been submitted to someone (within your organization? or one of your banker's folk or whoever), it hadn't been sent yet. the number that i really needed was the federal # (I forget the exact name) of the transaction to verify that it had been actually sent. As I am inexperienced in wire transfers I did not know this, and apparently neither did whoever I talked to (in your organization). Although I was panicky on that day, everything is now OK. BUT, I feel that someone did not have a clear understanding of the process (Me, for sure). I believe you could improve the communications IF if had been more clearly understood by both of us. I provide this feedback in the interest of helping you improve the process, not to accuse anybody of whatever. Thank you.

I had an amazing experience with One Reverse Mortgage. I am a widow and was married to a man who took care of all the financial aspects of our life. I had no prior experience with mortgages. The One Reverse team walked me through every step of the way and I was able to purchase a new home with no problems. I am grateful for all their kindness and knowledge. I would recommend One Reverse Mortgage to anyone, especially someone like myself that needed guidance throughout the whole process!

Scott Pifer was courteous and informative. He always followed up with everything and made sure all details were covered. He is definitely a “people person” and it is evident he is a professional in his field.
