An ineffective and frankly over priced service
This service allows you to guess you entire way through the tests and asks questions such as, “What was the first car to be mass produced?” The DMV is not interested one bit in the answer to that question and yet this service asks it. This program also is required in order to get your California permit, however it costs a ridiculous amount of money for something that you need to take. Overall I give this three stars because it is overpriced and ineffective at preparing someone for the California driving exam. I am a sixteen year old, fully liscensed driver for the state of California. My best sugggestion to prepare for the test after taking this bogus course is to pick up the Drivers handbook at any DMV, for free by the way, and study directly what the state of California really wants you to know.
Response from MyCaliforniaPermit.com Drivers Ed· Jul 2, 2018
The curriculum is supplied by the DMV. This course is DMV approved and includes all of the required information for Drivers Education. This course is NOT a "test prep" class to simply pass the DMV test, but rather it is required drivers education mandated by the state. Perhaps reviewing the DMV handbook and taking the DMV practice tests that we recommended would have helped you pass. The DMV curriculum supplied to us has nothing to do with our performance as a business and your rating should be changed to reflect the ease of taking this course and timely delivery of your DMV certificate we mailed to you. If you have further questions please reach out to us on our CONTACT page. We are here to help and want you to become a happy and safe driver.
