Always buy from the store so that a professional can assist. I made the mistake of buying online originally and had the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. I was able to cancel my order and work with a sales associate here in Houston. While there were still some hiccups along the way, I had much better communication and someone looking into the issues. I will continue to order from Modani but never online again. Thank you Teal for all your help though all the craziness. You really stepped up and went beyond your own responsibilities and made everything perfect.

Suzanne was great and very helpful, but the waiting time for furniture to arrive the warehouse and then to have it delivered was excruciating. Based on the furniture quality and style, I would have been happy to give 5 stars if the wait were not so long (and if the wrong color chairs weren’t delivered last year in the first delivery attempt). However, Suzanne was able to correct the errors and communicate well with me.

What a major disappointment our experience turned into! The store offered exclusively contemporary designed furniture. We purchased and paid in full for a bedroom set back in November. After many phone calls, and two and half months later we were assured that our furniture was ready to be delivered. The truck arrived with only two items, no bed, no tv stand, no bench, one night stand and one lamp. The order was not accepted. After visiting the store again, where the manager tried to make good on the poor customer service by offering discount, she confirmed another date for delivery where all items would be delivered. The delivery truck pulled in and the men attempted to assemble the bed,at no avail, due to a manufacturer mishaps. Got in touch with the store and was referred to customer service where an answering service replied. No live person is available for resolution, or much needed assistance in emergency situations. This time the entire set had to be taken back. Hugely disappointed at the entire organization's lack of customer service and the total miscommunication between the store, delivery company and their logistics department. It seems like nobody communicates with the other. Needless to say that the poor service and minimal assistance offered to find resolution to this ongoing nightmare, we decided to cancel our order. I wonder if getting credited back will be another painful process as our entire experience has been. The answer was provided faster than we would ever comprehend the corporate's eagerness to charge full amount upon purchasing but the processing of the refund will have to go through the ambiguoud channels of bureaucracy,at its best. Customers' satisfaction should not get lost and disregarded by the inaptness of the company's broken communication system.

Very nice furniture, but horrible customer service experience. I bought a bed in Nov2020 for which I had to pay an additional $300 to be delivered in Miami FL. Deliver scheduled for Jan 2021 (even tough they said it was going to take 2-3 weeks), I get a call the day before the delivery to let me know the bed has a part missing, so it will not be delivered and I have to wait until May 2021 for a new one. I asked to be reimbursed the $1.9k I paid for the bed, it's been 4 days and still no reimbursement in my credit card. Very fast to charge, very slow to give the money back even though it's been almost 2 months since they charged the purchase, and I never received the goods (and not receiving the goods because they don't actually have it, nothing to do with me not wanting it) I would rate negative if I could.
