Manduka markets a water proof yoga mat…
Manduka markets a water proof yoga mat at a mildly high cost. I've had my mat for about 9 years. Do not use very often. The mat started to absorb sweat. Not good. I contacted them, jumped through hoops getting pics, proof of purchase, and answering lots of questions. Only for them to come back and blame me for the issues with the mat. I used ONCE OR TWICE OVER 9 YEARS a solution with 3% vinegar and water to refresh it. It is IMPOSSIBLE to damage the mat with this solution. But to them. It was their way out of warranteing it. They put profits over customers. Sad where society has gotten. I hope no one buys from them ever again. I will post this everywhere I can find. This is sad. They could have easily solved this with a warranty replacement and said it is a one time courtesy a d don't use that solution to clean it. But no. So now I hope to ruin their business. No consumer should give their hard earned money to a company that does all they can to NOT warranty their products. When will companies figure out that taking care of a consumer is a small price to pay for their continued success. At this point I pray for their failure.
