I paid for the $45 level of service and expected to get information about employment and got zero. When I asked why not I was just told they didn't know why and it was up to me to verify employment. It seems to me that if a potential tenant gives you their social security number that would be easy to get. Paying $65 to get this information is far too expensive to pay for that service as most tenants complain already about paying $45. Will be looking for another screening service. Landlordstation customer service also couldn't explain to me how they "accepted" a tenant when their debt was extremely high and no employment verification was given. Just doesn't make sense to me and doesn't make me have confidence in the service.

Hi Lorraine. We're sorry to hear that you weren't happy with your report. I took a look at the email correspondence that you had with our company. I apologize if the reason was not clear and I hope that we can clear that up for you. The employment history on the credit report is pulled from Trans Union's database of previously run reports. If a place of employment has not been reported to Trans Union (the credit agency that we run the reports through), I'm afraid that it will not be provided to us. I do show that both of your reports have been marked for a partial refund since you did not receive the full benefit of this database search. The only report level in which LandlordStation will verify current and previous employment is the top level report, which is the $65 report. LandlordStation does not accept or decline tenants. An automated recommendation is provided by Trans Union when the information is sent to us and we do pass that along to you. We do encourage you to take a look at the report as a whole when making your final decision because this recommendation is run off an algorithm in Trans Union's systems. I hope this helped clear up some of your questions. We're happy to discuss any further questions you may have. You may reach out to us via our email [email protected], on our live chat at www.landlordstation.com, or at 866.613.7773

The initial link for the tenant response had a technical problem that didn't allow the authorization to proceed. The issue was reported and Laura responded quickly to let us know the issue was on their end and it got fixed quickly. Nice format to the report and comprehensive.

Easy to use for both tenant and landlord. The information is reliable and is the only tenant screening service we now use to validate potential renters.
