We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization powered by a community of hobbyists that offer full-featured web hosting services for free. Our mission is to provide high quality web hosting for free to as many people as possible. We believe that everyone should have access to their own website whether they're a student to a small business owner, and everything in between. We're operated by a team of highly experienced volunteers who are passionate about what we do.Many schools around the world don't have the resources to provide their students with an online environment where they can learn to create a website. HelioHost aims to solve this issue by providing free hosting accounts for the teachers and students. Many small businesses can't afford to pay for hosting in order to sell their products online. HelioHost aims to solve this by providing free hosting and low cost hosting to small businesses to allow them to have an online presence. We offer as many free hosting accounts as we can, and we also offer donation based hosting accounts to help offset the cost of providing hosting for free. In addition, we provide affordable VPS hosting plans and scaling pricing based on usage for people who wish to upgrade from the free plans. We encourage community members to help each other, and recruit new volunteers from the community who are the most helpful. We own all of our own hardware so we don't have to resell hosting services from other companies which helps us keep costs low.

Heliohost is the best!
Response from HelioHost· Jan 27, 2026
Thanks for the 5 star review, Unisan! It looks like you've been using our hosting since 2017. It's awesome that you've stuck with us for so long. We really appreciate all the donations you've thrown our way over the years too.

The service they offer for free is by far the best free service I have ever used in my 13 years of deploying websites. They have many of the benefits that most paid services include. They do offer additional services, at a reasonable rate, if you need them. I would highly recommend anyone in need of web hosting. I have enjoyed the use of heliohost's services since September 2023 at zero cost.

Thanks for the 5 star review, Adam! I took a look at your account to remember who you are, and noticed that you were 70 MB over your storage limit. Since you were kind enough to give us a 5 star review, I was kind enough to give you a free 1000 MB storage so you can login and your domains would work again. Trustpilot doesn't allow us to give incentives to leave reviews so this storage increase will have to be temporary just until you get some files deleted, or pay for the upgrade. Let us know if you need help with anything.

Solid support, consistent uptime, good product selection. HelioHost has been a life saver. I don't know where else I would get a VPS server. Great place to learn and be a part of. I'd say everyone needs a VPS through them, but then they'd have none left for me!

Thanks for the 5 star review, Gamesguru! There have been several times in our history where we were at 100% capacity for VPS, and we had a waiting list for people who wanted to signup. We have since done a few successful fundraisers to purchase more servers so we're pretty good on space right now. The VPS sales keep increasing and increasing though, so we'll need to continue buying new servers too eventually. Thanks for being a VPS customer since 2022. Great hosting service.
Response from HelioHost· Jan 1, 2026
Thanks for the 5 star review, Alobel! I also saw the donation you sent this morning. You started out as a free user back in 2017, and you're still using our hosting service. We appreciate you sticking around for so long, and all the donations over the years. Happy New Year 2026! Let us know if you need help with anything.

Happy New Year. I appreciate your service.
Response from HelioHost· Jan 1, 2026
Thanks for the review, Denisov. We appreciate you using our free hosting since 2017. Sorry you keep getting 403 errors on your website. Your website works for everyone else and we don't see 403 errors so it must be something related to your browser or your internet connection. Hopefully we can figure out what is going on and you can bump this review up to a 5 star soon. Say "hi" to Byron for us.

The HelioHost team is very active. If you need any type of support or help, they are always available 24×7. However, you used free hosting or paid hosting. Hosting servers are very well maintained by the HelioHost team. Overall Awesome experience

Thanks for the 5 star review, Dhna! We try to help out as much as we can, but since we're all volunteers our full time jobs and family and friends come first. We are really lucky to have a great team of volunteers that are dedicated to keeping this service running. Let us know if you need help with anything.

awsome plataform, very nice support and uptime.
Response from HelioHost· Dec 28, 2025
Thanks for the 5 star review, Mateusfmello! It can be surprisingly challenging to provide support for free hosting, because a lot of free users can be extremely rude, demanding, and entitled. So thanks for noticing our volunteers are doing a good job. On the other hand, our donors and paying customers tend to be much nicer. It's the nice users who appreciate what we're doing that keeps us going. Let us know if you need help with anything.
