Excellent service and "sale" prices. My experience couldn't have been better. A customer for 10+years and maybe $400 of subscriptions, mainly as gifts.

The “locked” in discount program is misleading and unfairly exposes customers to higher prices in the future that are not the lowest price commonly available.

Our goal is to provide value through the locked discount program, but we certainly don't want it to come across as misleading or leave customers feeling they're paying more than expected. We send you an initial reminder email 30 days prior to your subscription renewal. Then, 7 days before the renewal, we'll provide a follow-up email detailing the exact amount you will be charged, giving you ample opportunity to make any necessary adjustments. You can also log in to your account at any time to disable DiscountLock. If you found a lower price on DiscountMags, we can price match our own pricing within 30 days of your order date. Dear Jerry, we're sorry you haven't received an issue yet. That definitely isn't the experience we want you to have. We were only given a name and a magazine title, but we found your order, which had an estimated delivery between 05/28/2026 and 07/16/2026. This title has 6 issues a year and prints every other month, so issues come less often than a monthly magazine. An agent emailed you that a status request was sent to find out when your order would start. As requested, we have cancelled the order and issued a full refund. For the future, you can also log in to your account to cancel an order or subscription.

Where do I begin? I ordered several magazines for us and for our kids as Christmas gifts. I've tried SEVERAL times to cancel ALL of the subscriptions but we keep getting billed and some of the magazines are still being delivered. It might be advantageous to hire employees who speak English and understand what the buyer is trying to do.

Dear Kathryn, we're sorry about the frustration this has caused. Here is what we see on our end: you placed a new order for LadyBug in February, which was not an auto renewal, and we have made sure automatic renewal (DiscountLock) is turned off on it. We also found two other orders from September 2025, for Southern Living and Food & Wine. Both were renewal orders, and automatic renewal has been turned off on both. We send renewal reminder emails in advance, one 30 days before a renewal and another 7 days before with the exact price, so there's time to review the charge and cancel, and you can turn off DiscountLock at any time in your account. Our customer support team does communicate in English, but we're sorry if we didn't clearly understand or address what you were trying to do. That's not the experience we want you to have.

I e-mailed the subscription desk with an issue, no one ever gave me the courtesy of a response. No wonder print is dead.
