DesignerOptics.comReviews of designeroptics.com

Total scam false advertisement. They claim to sell MiraFlex on the website, but NOT true! They will ship similar name brand hopping you don’t notice, but you actually get garbage for your money! Don’t buy from them! Don’t trust them!

I was debating on writing a review but seeing all these negative reviews made me want to share my experience. This is the second time I’ve ordered from Designer Optics first time I just ordered frames to replace a broken pair of glasses I had. This most recent time I ordered I ordered lenses as well. I’m very impressed with ordering these glasses online. The website was easy to use they had the frames I wanted. The glasses took 16 days to get to me from my order date which is maybe a couple days longer than experiences I’ve had going to a brick and mortar glasses store but it was worth the wait due to how impressed I am with the glasses and lenses. My only complaint I would say would be I feel like maybe a cleaning cloth or cleaning instructions should come with the glasses. And maybe a better like track your order status like it saying it’s in progress or they’re waiting for frames or something. But over all I’m highly impressed. My biggest advice when ordering is to make sure you input your correct prescriptions and PD distance. And be patient so many of us have lost our patience when it’s come to ordering online. *These opinions are my own and the company did not ask or reach out to me to write this review*

We have placed your order with them. Usually, the manufacturer ships products within a few business days and we are continuously communicating with the manufacturer. We will provide you with tracking information once it ships. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your business. I called Pearle, Costco etc. and was told the frames are discontinued. GASLIGHT ALERT!! I don't know if they didn't have the stones to tell me, but this is not a legitimate business.

Nice website but HORRIBLE customer service! Over 1 MONTH to get my order! And no emails on delayed shipment, etc. I will never order from Designer Optics ever again. And I recommend that you buy your glasses from somewhere else! I do NOT believe the positive reviews here!

I have placed two orders on this site. Both times, there was no confirmation regarding the shipment of my order. Only after I contacted them did they respond with, “We don’t have it, please choose another pair of glasses,” or “We don’t have it, and when we do, we’ll send it to you.” This is absolutely unacceptable. It seems very likely that this business orders frames from China and then sells them to you for a high price, passing them off as originals. This is why what you order is never in stock—they’re waiting for it to arrive from China. Never order from this site.

I bought "Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Deodorant Spray", after 14 days they sent me email: "Unfortunately, without our knowledge, the product/s you chose have been discontinued and are no longer available for purchase. We do, however, have similar products for you to choose from. Please take a moment to pick a different pair so that we may continue processing your order and fulfilling your fashion needs. We can assure you that once you have made your new choice, we will process your order as a priority and have your new glasses delivered as soon as possible. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We do our utmost to avoid situations like this, but when dealing with a large number of suppliers and thousands of different models, it is understandable how this previously escaped our notice. Please inform us of your new choice in eyewear and we will promptly prepare them for you. Please let us know how to proceed. Thank you for your understanding". THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF PURCHASE I DID. ID**TS ARE WORKING THERE. DO NOT BUY ANITHING FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

Ordered frames that were on back order. Immediately found somewhere else that actually had them in stock and would get them to me in under 7 days, so I ordered those as well. Website says that orders can be canceled within an hour from the orders page. Went to the page multiple times within 20 minutes of placing the order, but there were no indications of how to cancel the order. Called the phone number on the website which had a message saying they were closed (2:30 my time, but 5:30 their time). Immediately used their contact us page to ask them to cancel the order. Around 6:30 their time, got an email with a tracking number. Tracking number shows a label was created. Next morning, get an email saying they can't cancel because it was shipped. How could it be shipped? The item is on back order.

I ordered these on 08/18/24 and was advised 7-10 days. At the 10 day mark I am told another 3-10 days. Still nothing has shipped and was told I cannot cancel and get a refund.
