It's early days yet and I've only used the Deeper chirp 3 once, on that one occasion the depth reading it gave me was very inaccurate, it may prove to be my lack of experience but I will see over the next few weeks or months, I am going to be using it on my bushwacker baiting pole primarily.

Thank you for your feedback. If the depth readings seem inaccurate, it's often related to the sonar settings or the scanning conditions rather than the device itself. For example, when scanning very shallow water (around 1–2 ft), using the wide 47° beam may produce inaccurate depth readings. In such conditions, we recommend using the 7° or 20° beam instead. Just tried it for the first time in my kayak. It seems to lose connection to my phone very easily if it is more than 6 feet away; but maybe I need to use it more...

Thanks for your review Steve! This should be an easy fix, as most likely a conflicting smartphone setting is causing this. Here's how to fix it: go to Cellular Settings of your iPhone -> Scroll to the very bottom -> Disable "Wi-Fi Assist" setting. Also, ensure that the sonar doesn't submerge underwater during the movement of your kayak. It can lose connection if submerged. If any help will be needed - please email us at [email protected]

Laut Sendungsverfolgung wurde die Sendung innerhalb weniger Tage schnell durch das UPS-Netzwerk transportiert und erreichte Deutschland. Allerdings wurde eine Änderung der Zustellung an einen UPS-Abholpunkt veranlasst, wo das Paket dann mehrere Tage aufbewahrt wurde, bevor es abgeholt wurde. Dadurch verlängerte sich die Gesamtlieferzeit, was jedoch nicht auf Verzögerungen unsererseits zurückzuführen war. Works great. Gotta pay for the app which is bonkers. Lets assume 5 years at 25$ is the cost of service for the life of the device, why not just add it in? I do not like the monthly BS.

Rezension: Erste Eindrücke zum Deeper CHIRP+ 2 – Verarbeitung enttäuscht bei diesem Preis Obwohl ich den Deeper CHIRP+ 2 bislang noch nicht im Einsatz testen konnte, möchte ich meine ersten Eindrücke zur Verarbeitungsqualität teilen. Bei einem Produkt in dieser Preisklasse – über 300 Euro – erwarte ich eine entsprechend hochwertige Ausführung, insbesondere bei stark beanspruchten Komponenten. Leider besteht die Befestigungsschraube lediglich aus Kunststoff. Hier hätte ich mindestens Edelstahl oder eine verzinkte Metallausführung erwartet, um Stabilität und Langlebigkeit zu gewährleisten. Eine derart einfache Lösung wirkt bei einem ansonsten technisch anspruchsvollen Produkt enttäuschend und wenig durchdacht. Ebenfalls irritierend: Im Lieferumfang befindet sich zwar ein Ladekabel, jedoch kein Netzadapter. Für ein Premiumprodukt wäre ein vollständiges Ladezubehör angemessen gewesen. Insgesamt wirkt die Materialwahl eher schlicht und nicht dem Preis entsprechend hochwertig. Ich hoffe sehr, dass der Deeper CHIRP+ 2 zumindest in seiner Funktionalität überzeugt – denn hinsichtlich der Verarbeitung bleibt aktuell Luft nach oben.

Bezüglich der Befestigungsschraube verstehen wir, dass sie auf den ersten Blick wie Kunststoff wirken kann, insbesondere durch ihr geringes Gewicht und die schwarze Farbe. Tatsächlich besteht sie jedoch aus hochwertigem Titan. Dieses Material wurde gewählt, weil es besonders langlebig, korrosionsbeständig und gleichzeitig leicht ist, was die Handhabung des Geräts erleichtert. Was das fehlende Ladegerät betrifft, ist es heutzutage bei vielen Geräten üblich, dieses nicht mehr beizulegen. Der CHIRP+ 2 wird mit einem Standard-USB-Kabel geliefert und kann mit jedem handelsüblichen USB-Ladegerät verwendet werden - zum Beispiel mit einem Handy-Ladegerät, einer Powerbank oder auch direkt am Laptop. Wenn Sie den CHIRP+ 2 noch nicht unter realen Bedingungen getestet haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen das auf jeden Fall. Wir sind überzeugt, dass Sie mit der Leistung auf dem Wasser sehr zufrieden sein werden.
