And you’re exactly right — the trial pack exists for this reason: some dogs are wonderfully opinionated, and it helps you figure out what they’ll actually enjoy before committing. Also, thank you for the honest note about the star rating. We completely understand: even if the food is high quality, it still has to pass your dog’s “taste test,” and every dog is different. If you ever want to give it another shot, a few things that often help picky pups are: lightly warming the meal (5–10 seconds), adding a splash of warm water and mixing, or starting with the proteins they already like (beef/pork) and slowly blending in a small amount of another variety over time.
