The sales person talked a 75 year old senior into a 5 year contract for her car which is 15 years old. When we called to discuss the cancellation of the policy, they only wanted to reduce the cost. This company is a scam and preys on seniors. BE WARE AND PROTECT OUR OLDER FAMILY MEMBERS FROM SUCH SCAM.

I recently purchased a used vehicle. Auto Protect USA (I only found their name in very fine print at the bottom of the notice) apparently found out about my purchase and now continually spams me with snail mail. This company is like every other auto warranty company: SCAM! I don’t understand how the government continues to allow these shysters to operate. They are THIEVES!!!

I received a letter in the mail a few weeks back stating my vehicles factory warranty was going to expire. I was very frustrated because I knew this was some form of advertisement because I never had a vehicle warranty and I was not verry happy! I spoke with my now representative Austin who happily and calmly answered each and every one of my questions. This respectful young man was one of the best experiences I’ve had when coming to customer service. Very well mannered, telling me all my questions were amazing and even told me he understood my frustrations which is HARD TO FIND in this day in age! I got the best coverage available for my vehicle at a price that he was able to help me keep in my budget. Im made it clear that is a single mom and don’t have much room for extra bills. He sent me over to his account manager marques who was just as amazing! This is the company that’s going to go places because they take the extra mile to LISTEN to people and help them where they need it. I’m happy to know that I have not only one but two people other than a customer service line that represent me and can help me when need be.

This company gets a list of recent car sales. They then send you a letter with the name and make, model of your car to make it look like it came from the car company. Example: 2023 Ford Escape. The letter is from Auto Protect, LLC. It is listed at the bottom of the letter in small print. I only called to verify this letter regarding a warranty not being active only to find out its a company bullying people into buying an extended warranty. I have a brand new 2023 car and opted at the dealership not to take an extended warranty. When I called they put on a "sales" guy who was rude as hell, pushing for an answer why I won't buy into this scam of a deal. I finally had to hang up on his A**..On anther note, look out for similar extended warranty letters that look like they come from the DMV, I have had a few of those in the past and it wasn't from the DMV because I carefully look it over and it was a fraud.

I recieved a letter in my mail that stated my auto warrenty wasn't activated- I have a new 2023 car with less then 1000 miles on it- It freaked me out- so i called immediatly just to find out - it's a company scamming people making them believe they have no warranty- I bought the extended warranty through the dealer for 7 years- This company is a scam! I wonder how many people get scammed by their letters.

This company scams. They just called offering me 100 dollars for a 5 star trust piolet review. so instead I'm leaving a 1 star

This company is a SCAM company--operating very dishonestly. I purchased a brand new vehicle in June 2022, that came with 3 manufacturer's warranties, of 5 and even 10 years length; and I started receiving these 'final notice' notices from Auto Protect USA, 2-3 times each month, since July (one month after purchase). None of these notices includes the company name/address, only an 800-number among threatening language designed to illicit fear in the mind of the consumer. When you buy a new car, it is not necessary to purchase an extended warranty. Every time they sent me one of these 'notices,' I reported their scam behavior to the Federal Trade Commission, but of course nothing will happen to them. This time, I called to tell them I would SUE them for harassment if they ever contacted me again. Time will tell if that has the desired effect; I guarantee, if it doesn't, I AM suing them, and will call the Media to ensure everyone knows about it.

This company is clearly a scam and they became extremely agressive and violent on the phone. I work in the automotive industry and they tried to ensure me my 4-month-old vehicle's 10-year/100,000-mile warranty had expired. They are committing postal fraud with their letters designed to trick vehicle owners, threatening innocent Americans, and should be avoided by all means. AVOID these scammers - who knows what additional criminal activity they are involved in.
