Asana doubled the price of my subscription and then refused to refund the difference for the year when switching me over to a monthly subscription. I do not recommend using Asana - there are friendlier options out there with better customer service.

While looking for a good app to organize my tasks and projects I realized Asana is a good way to go. But, I quickly realize after doing my sign up I have been automatically placed into trial mode. No previous communication about this, and I never actually wanted to try premium features + I am not sure what will I use or not so I want to stick with free for now. After I tried to disable the trial period I realized that is not possible. When trying to contact someone from the support they always redirect you to creating a ticket even if they do have a live chat option with agents. Such a shame.

Asana is easy to use and easy to log into for people working in different locations. All members of the team can update information in real time and respond to each other. It is helpful to toggle between boards and calendar views to be able to see projects in process for an entire block of time allowing for accountability and planning. I am using free version and never had complains like other reviewers here. I won't go for premium account, now I am informed.

Powerful and impactful. I've been using asana personally for years. I'm grateful that my current company has it implemented for project management purposes. It makes life so much cleaner and easier.

They created a Mac OS desktop version of the app instead of in-browser or makeshift apps to fil that gap circa 2020 - that was a big improvement for me. The templates are great. The integrations and communication are aces.
