Just finished moving over from another CRM. The setup was simple and I'm excited about the format. I had a few issues but Moxie was quick to help me solve them. I would definitely recommend for other wedding vendors.

Moxie is better than most offerings of its type, but it has some shortcomings that I found to be hard to manage. There is no way to track document versions well. E-mail linking was not easy at all and I had to delete my connection to Google more than once and re-add before it would work. You need to add a token to every ad hoc email in order to insert your email signature, unless you only use email templates. The interface is very old fashioned looking. Just lots of little things that make it a time waster for me.

Thanks for the review, Todd (or Andrew as you put here). We have so many questions for you! Looking at our data, you have signed up for a new workspace and subsequently canceled that workspace subscription 5 times since June of 2023! Why... what are you doing, we must know!!! We actually have a running bet about how long after you sign up you will cancel with the same general dissastication message that you posted here. Maybe you are with a competitor? Maybe it's just that you have a really short memory for which SaaS products you try out? Either way, it doesn't sound like we are a good fit for you, and I wish the best of luck in your search for a CRM.

Overall, Moxie is a good platform with useful features, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Agreements/Contracts: One limitation I’ve noticed is the inability to customize where fields like signatures and dates are placed in agreements. Currently, the client’s signature can only appear at the top or bottom of the page, which doesn’t work for lawyer-drafted contracts with specific formatting. It would be great if Moxie implemented a drag-and-drop feature for this, similar to DocHub, which offers a much smoother experience for contract customization. Meeting Scheduler and Taxes: The meeting scheduler is a fantastic feature, especially with the option to require payment before booking. However, it currently doesn’t allow you to add taxes to the payment total. This is a significant limitation for business owners who are required to charge taxes separately (e.g., in Quebec, Canada). Moxie already supports taxes on invoices when integrated with Stripe, so it would make sense to extend this functionality to the meeting scheduler. Smart Fields for Contracts: As of now, there are no smart fields for agreements/contracts, which is surprising for a CRM. The absence of this feature makes automation less efficient, as you need to create a unique contract template for each offer and then manually set up workflows. Adding smart fields would greatly streamline the process of sending contracts and invoices. You can build workflows with conditional logics, but it's more work than if you had smart fields. I hope these suggestions are helpful and I look forward to seeing future updates!

These are super helpful suggestions. We use our feedback site (feedback.withmoxie.com) to manage our roadmap and pay close attention to what our users want and need. The signature placement in agreements is on our list currently. We know many users would like to see that and recommend upvoting it so you get an alert when we are able to make the update. The same for meeting scheduler taxes. You can upvote that feature here: https://feedback.withmoxie.com/feature-requests/p/collect-sales-tax-for-paid-meetings We call our smart fields tokens. These are available in contracts, but it may not have been clear if you have used another CRM in the past since we have a different term. Moxie is great and their customer support is really great👌. First the bot is helpful but when I needed more support (as I set up my first CRM…#figuringitout) I could quickly chat with a real person who could help! Love that.
