Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I couldn't get the service to work once since we ordered the server and I'm an IT professional. Awful

I looked into your account, and it looks like most of the game files were gone, so the server was never going to run properly. I'm reviewing internally to figure out what went wrong here, both with the service itself and with our support coverage, since we should have caught this and helped you get it sorted quickly. We take feedback like this seriously and we're always looking to improve. I only wish you'd reached out to us directly and given us the chance to help and make it right.

Tried to cancel
Tried to cancel, they denied my request to cancel the first time without telling me, the server itself didn't work in most way and was extremely slow, it's not easy to navigate either.

Hi Lucas, I'm sorry it ended here, and I appreciate the honest feedback. Cancelling is self-serve and defaults to the end of your billing cycle, so if you tried and nothing seemed to happen, I'd genuinely like to see what you ran into. And if the server was slow or the panel was hard to navigate, I wish we'd heard from you while you were with us. That's exactly the kind of thing we move fast on. Was not able to setup Windrose server.
Was not able to setup Windrose server. When I tried to check for support. none available. Just Discord this or Discord that. No real person. I wanted to like this company. But I will go back to Gportal 50 mins of time gone

I’m sorry to hear the Windrose setup experience was frustrating and that you were not able to get the server running through our service. After receiving your cancellation request I reached out to you immediately and we ended up canceling and fully refunding your order since you had already moved forward with another provider. That seemed like the right outcome given the situation. I also want to clarify that our support is handled by real staff, not AI. We do offer Discord as one of our support options, but I do not see any active ticket from you in our system (nor did I when I followed up to your cancellation request). That said, if you tried to reach us there and did not get the help you needed, we will review that internally and use the feedback to improve the process. We appreciate you giving us a try, and I’m sorry we were not the right fit this time.

Worst server hosting
Worst server hosting. Can't even get the plugins you would normally need for a smp or a server.

not great
so, I was using this free hoster, i planned one buying this since it was cheap and since it was also PAID and when i did buy it, the hoster was SLOWER THAN A FREE HOSTER, I do NOT recommend using this

I bought an 8gb pack and they were only…
I bought an 8gb pack and they were only giving us like 2.27. I couldn't run the modpack I was intending to, so it was useless.

Hi Sidney, I'm sorry your experience didn't meet expectations. I did reach out right after your cancellation to help troubleshoot (about a minute after via email), but we did not hear back from you. Our support team is still happy to assist if you'd like to give it another shot. Either way, I wish you the best with your server! Edit: I also wanted to mention that as a first-time customer, you're eligible for a refund under our 48-hour policy. Just open a ticket and we'll take care of it-no hassle.

I was a fluctis customer
I was a fluctis customer. I guess they got bought by winternode. My minecraft server was shut down as expected from fluctis, several weeks later winternode alerted me that they had started a server in my name. Support was incredibly unhelpful. Apparently there is no way to delete your winternode account. Brandon refuses to do so for me. This process of removing myself from a service I did not want is far to complicated and stressful. I do not recommend winternode to anyone. Edit: since I can’t seem to reply, my fluctis service was shut down weeks ago. I was never informed of when/if migration would happen. I only received an email AFTER winternode had created an account and server for me. You’re right, you don’t deserve one star. You deserve less. I repeatedly asked for my account to be deleted and was ignored.

Hello, As is entirely standard practice during an acquisition and transfer, we moved all then-active accounts and services over to WinterNode. To the best of our records, you still had active time left on your Fluctis service, therefore we weren't simply going to shut you out of any data that you needed to get or time left on your service. We do not feel this warrants a one star rating of our service, nor do we feel that it is in any way a fair criticism. It is our company policy to not allow full deletion of accounts for both accounting and legal reasons, but we can process a shutdown or deactivation of your account if requested. Edit to respond to your edit: We have clearly communicated with Fluctis customers throughout the transition process. This included multiple announcement emails, announcements in the client areas, on social media... virtually every platform we could share this information on within the scope of reality. We then sent out notices to customers who would be transferred. We cannot and will not delete your account. As we very clearly mentioned, it is a legal and accounting requirement. We can, however, permanently deactivate it upon request.
