Quality of boots not what expected of Ariats. Had scuffs and sides were coming off. Contacted the company and never received a reply.

Absolutely fantastic selection of western boots - you can't fail to find the perfect pair at this store. However, their customer service wasn't quite so impressive. As shipping for one pair of boots was £80, we ordered 2 pairs of boots @ £92 postage fees. Having bought boots from the US before we knew that there would be customs charges so assumed at this price, customs charges were included but they weren't. When we queried this, we were told it was made clear in the FAQs! We have suggested a note at the actual checkout prior to payment would be more helpful. Although shown as in stock when we placed the order online, one of the pairs was not available - we received a very vague refund e-mail but it wasn't clear exactly what we were being refunded for. We weren't asked if we wanted to cancel the order or select a different pair instead, they just despatched one pair. We then had to chase them to refund the difference in postage for sending the reduced order. So sadly, due to the lack of customer care we've experienced (it's isn't always what you say, but how you say it), we won't be purchasing from them again.
