Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

WE have had a lot of Antelope, Deer, Elk, and even free range beef over the years and I can honestly say Wild Idea Buffalo is the best meat I can remember eating. Thanks for a GREAT product.

The delivery was prompt and I LOVE your buffalo...it's great protein for my diet and I digest it readily. First came across it in Natural Grocers in Evergreen, CO. Then, the supply there became spotty and I had to order it direct from you, as they don't have a steady supply of it in the store and it is fresher when I buy it direct from you. Thank you. Will order again!

You guys rock. Everytime I eat your products I can feel the surge of protein through my veins. When I need to push out one final rep, or push that last mile in a run, I visualize the great beast of a buffalo grazing the plains, exhaling like a steam locomotive. I think to myself that I have the power of the strongest, largest animal in North America, whose life was lived so that I may live my own. I think of the strength and pride of the Native American people who lived off of this beast, and believe that I am reliving a basic meal that my ancestors lived on for centuries. Thank you for your product, but more so thank you to the buffalo whom lived its life such that I can live mine, to the fullest, like a true American. This Earth is Eden. EAT DA BUFFALO!

The single best hotdogs I have ever tasted! All the meat is super yummy, and my conscious is clear--I know that not only am I not supporting with my dollar those who treat animals inhumanely, I am supporting those who go to the extra effort and cost, who treat the animals with the honor that they deserve.

They arrived promptly as your email told me they were shipped promptly. They were packed with 2 ice packs inside lots of insulation. Very fresh meat. The meat is so very good. My wife and I went vegetarian for a long while and we missed meat. So we decided since we do not eat much red meat let's get exceptionally high quality meat when we do. Your grass fed (not grain fattened) venison is pricey, but it is worth it.
