If I treated my customer half as poorly…
If I treated my customer half as poorly as this company does, I'd lose all my customers very fast. Fraud is rare. Everyone with a little inside info about finance knows this. Financial institutions like banks and this one here try to offload as much fraud risk onto their customers as they can. This company has pushed this unfair practice to the limit. I don't remember EVER trying to access my retirement accounts without running into problems with this company. That is because they have made it all but impossible to have a smooth, easy login process. They have nobody answering calls after 4pm. How convenient! The company handing perhaps tens if not hundreds of millions of people's money does not take calls after 4pm! You try to solve the problems, they send you a verification email, but that email exists nowhere in any of my mailboxes. "Check your SPAM folder!" No! you send email from an address that will not be blocked by SPAM. Everyone with a little inside knowledge if IT knows this is possible, but costs a little bit. They don't want to pay that cost! Supposing email didn't go into SPAM folder, why should I have to check ALL my email accounts? Why can't they give you a hint which account they sent it to? That's because they want to absolutely minimize risk to themselves! Well, a few of us understand all this and we let others know about it too. Look they have 1 star from hundreds of reviews! What's more telling than that? If you can take your money out and put it elsewhere, like Fidelity for example, do it. I used to have Fidelity, and I am gonna take all my savings out of this one and go back to them because I genuinely feel they cared more about the customers. No I am not paid by them, nor do or did I work there. You probably can do better no matter which other institution you take your money to. Good luck!
