I’m genuinely disappointed with the VITURE Beast. The marketing creates the impression that you are getting something close to a huge 174-inch cinematic display. In actual use, that is absolutely not what I experience. The image feels much more like looking through a relatively small optical window than sitting in front of a gigantic screen. I even compared the Beast directly with my real 83-inch LG TV from roughly 4 metres away, with the Beast set to maximum screen size. The virtual image did not give me anything close to the impression of a 174-inch screen. In fact, my real 83-inch TV felt larger and more natural. The bigger problem, however, is image quality and viewing comfort. The edges are noticeably blurry in every mode I tried. I also get a mirrored/ghosted reflection below the bottom part of the image, especially around elements such as the Windows taskbar. Changing nose pads did not solve it — I tried all of them. If I move the glasses slightly down my nose, the lower ghosting improves, but then the top of the image gets cut off. If I move them closer to my eyes so I can see the whole image, the lower mirroring becomes more visible again. The only way I managed to make the experience somewhat usable was by wearing contact lenses with my intermediate-distance correction and using Anchor Mode, so I can move my head and bring different parts of the virtual screen into the clearer central area. But that defeats the purpose of having a large, comfortable display in front of you. Move your head a little too far and parts of the image disappear at the top, bottom or sides. For me, the practical experience is nowhere near the “massive cinematic display” impression created by the advertising. I’m keeping them because Anchor Mode makes them somewhat usable, but if I had known beforehand what the real experience would be like for me, I would not have bought them. I also think potential buyers should pay much more attention to real-world factors like edge clarity, eyebox size and optical artifacts rather than focusing on the advertised “174-inch” figure. This is simply my own experience with the product, but it is very different from what I expected based on the marketing and overwhelmingly enthusiastic reviews.

We hear you on the gap between the advertised screen size and how it actually feels in use. The perceived size is meant to represent the virtual image at a given distance, but we recognize that doesn't always translate to the sense of scale people expect, and your comparison against your 83-inch TV is a fair and honest way to test that. On the edge blur and the ghosting/mirroring you're describing near the bottom of the image, that sounds like it's likely tied to eyebox positioning and eye relief, which can be sensitive to exactly how the glasses sit relative to your eyes, and it's clear you've already tried the reasonable fixes on your end (nose pads, positioning, Anchor Mode). We'd still like our support team to take a closer look at your specific case, since there may be additional adjustments worth trying beyond what you've already attempted. We appreciate you sticking with us despite the frustration, and we'll make sure this feedback reaches our product team directly, particularly your point about buyers weighing real-world factors like edge clarity and eyebox size rather than the headline screen size figure.

Great customer service, Thanks Again Ruby for understanding my situation and providing excellent feedback back and recommendations for the future. The Viture Glasses, Neckband and portable dock are a great accessory to meet your home and mobile needs so far in my experience. Even after having an issue with one of the devices, I reached out and assistance was handled in a timely manner, despite the Amazon window for returning, it was fulfilled. The VR glasses are lightweight and the surface feels smooth. The set up was very easy to straightforward by following the instructions. The resolution and HDR of the screens are large and clear, I feel enjoyable and immersed when I play games and watching videos. So far it has exceeded my expectations.

The Beast XR glasses are fantastic for watching movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime as well as YouTube. High quality and comfortable.
