Regarding your electric bill, solar systems are designed to offset usage, but they don’t always eliminate a bill entirely, especially with fixed utility charges or seasonal usage changes. Adding battery storage in the future can absolutely provide more energy independence and help you maximize the power you produce. After reviewing your system’s performance, it is currently producing at approximately 91% of its lifetime estimated production, which indicates it is operating within expected ranges. If your energy needs have increased or you’re looking for a higher level of offset, adding additional panels may be an option depending on your roof space and utility allowances.
