Worst customer service and they are liars. I called because the ups tracking number did not work. The company lied and said ups picked it up after an hour and a 1/2 going back and forth they finally admitted that it had not shipped but would not cancel the order. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE SCAMMER!!!!

Placed online order 11/29. Recvd email 12/1 stating to expect to receive it within 3-10 business days. 12/4 - They charged my card (even tho thier website and confirmation email both state that they will not charge your card until the order ships). Also, received the tracking number. It has never shipped. Asked Ulta for a refund (via 2 chats, 3 phone calls and 2 supervisors). Was told the order was "completed" in their warehouse so they can't cancel it or issue a refund. Ridiculous.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE, nobody, i mean, NOBODY, knows how to deal with the order that was not received

Horrible company! Customer service manager is a waste of time in resolution of complaint. Placed an order during Black Friday Sale, used PayPal at checkout. Checked my credit card after transaction and found two debits for the single transaction, it was the weekend so waited till Monday to see if one of the duplicate charges would drop off, both were gone by Tuesday. I didn't worry about it from there as PayPal had said they will debit the account on order completion. Ulta Cosmetics canceled the order and didn't have the common courtesy to contact/email me that they wouldn't be honoring my order because I used PayPal, said they couldn't verify my credit card information, but wait, isn't that why I use PayPal to protect my accounts!? Furthermore, because they didn't let me know of the cancelation, I wasn't able to shop from competitors during the Black Friday extended sales nor during the Cyber Week sales either. All I received from Customer Service was excuses and worse, they responded with two different stories about how they ran out of product and it was canceled due to that even though you can't place an item in the cart if out of stock, secondly after I asked for a supervisor, she was the one who said it was because of using PayPal. At that point I asked for the order to be fulfilled and of course she said no. I am just one unsatisfied customer and Ulta Cosmetics apparently does not value you as a singular purchaser.

I went to the Mesquite Ulta to return a DYSON straightener and they would not refund me it was never used said I had to ship it to ups also they were rude, managers were rude and I will never shop in that store EVER AGAIN!!! They all should have been fired! I went to a Ulta off Park Lane they were awesome credited my card no problem returning the DYSON straightener. Never go to Ulta Mesquite horrific service and rude!!!

Awaiting pickup, has said that now for 9 days, called and email and I get nowhere, I shipped it to a place that I am leaving on the 14th. I was thinking it shouldn’t take longer then two weeks to get to me. (So wrong!) So now I call and ask for address change (since it still hasn’t been shipped) and they tell me since it has a tracking they can’t change it but to call UPS. UPS said even when it gets picked up they can’t forward it because ULTA did not authorize address changes. Apparently the phone people don’t know anything. My luck an warehouse person lost or stole my box or UPS never scanned it and it sits in limbo somewhere.

Ulta is full of lying, stealing criminals! I purchased a product from store #134 at 7844 Rea Rd, Charlotte, NC 28277 on November 28, 2020. Their return policy as well as all of the employees in the store states I get a full refund if I'm not satisfied with a product and return it within 30 days. I went back to the same store the next day to return the product and FIVE employees (4 had no name tags, not even the manager. Now I know why!) including the manager Rachel claimed they couldn't a refund to my credit card (original method of payment) to go through and the only other option was for me to get a store credit! After 20 minutes of this nonsense, I asked for the District managers name and number. Rachel said we don't give that out and that I had to call customer service and maybe they could help me. Really??!!! Then she gave me a bogus number! I took my merchandise back and asked for my original receipt. She claimed she'd already given it to me. After I showed her where she put it then she pulls it out claiming it was a mistake. I asked what proof do I get that the refund transaction has been cancelled so it doesn't look like I accepted the merchandise credit for the refund. She assured me it was cancelled. Running late for an appointment, I took my original receipt, the product and what I thought was the receipt showing the refund transaction had been canceled. It was later when I realized the receipt, she gave me was a completed transaction receipt showing I'd received a store credit for the merchandise. I didn't receive a store credit at all. So now I'm stuck with garbage I don't want and no refund! In the meantime, I called customer service and was given the runaround for 30 minutes by Fred who kept me mostly on hold claiming to be looking for the district manager's number. My repeated requests for a supervisor were ignored. Fred finally said we don't give out personal information for the district managers and there's no supervisor available, I'll have one call you back. That was on November 29th. As of today December 7th, I haven't heard from anyone. No surprise there. I called back to customer service this evening and was hung up on by Mac, Will and Armando. On the fourth call to customer service, I finally got to speak to the supervisor Hansel who said he had to email the store to see if I'm eligible for a refund and that should take 2-3 business days for them to get back with me. Again, REALLY???!!!! Ulta is making a profit from ripping off its customers in the middle of a pandemic!!! $21 isn't the end of the world but when you consider, $21 times the number of customers they've ripped off I'm sure that adds up to quite a profit for them! It's sad and a shame that Ulta would pull something like this. Now is the worst possible time for them to cheat their customers with this blatant theft! Judging from the amount of Better Business Bureau complaints and the 1.14/5 rating from 203 customers they obviously don't care. This is ridiculous and should not be allowed.
