Nick, you have helped define the value of online learning... and how it can be as fulfilling as a ground campus. We pride ourselves on having the best faculty and staff to support the busy lives of our adult students. Thank you.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and are glad to know that your overall experience with the program was positive. We are sincerely sorry for any technical issues you may have experienced at the beginning. By and large, those issues are rare and are resolved quickly by our dedicated support staff. As for costs, Trident is actually one of the lowest priced WSCUC regionally accredited Universities. If you have any other suggestions, I’d be happy to discuss them. Just reach out to me, Christina Hoang, Director, Center for Student Success at [email protected] or 714-816-0366 (ext. 2147). Thanks again for your feedback.

Ryan, we really do appreciate the feedback. Since the name change we have not heard anyone complain that "Trident" was not the right fit. the University spent many months evaluating naming options as well as school colors. The new logos, colors and names were specifically chosen for what they represent to our student body demographic - heavily military. Our history and core foundation is based on servicing the military population. Our commitment to the adult learner is strong and our values are in writing https://www.trident.edu/why-trident/values/. Combining this compassionate commitment with academic excellence and being military friendly, a very large portion of our student body comes from referrals which should say a lot for Trident. As for your comments on syllabus and materials (links, etc) are all items that we continuously strive to improve. The College of Education, for example, has a new Dean, Dr. Heidi Gilligan. She has been instrumental in making changes to her college and its programs.

Derrick, thank you for taking the time to review Trident. As you pointed out, education can enhance someone's career and it appears this is the case for you. Congratulations on continuing your education. To address your comments regarding the curriculum, Trident continuously works to update courses to meet today's changing environments. MSITM is an evolving category and one that continues to be challenging but our academic teams are continually looking to update materials. As you may know, all of Trident's programs are Regionally Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission which is the same accreditation as USC, UCLA, Stanford and others. Our price-point is among the lowest for a MSITM degree and we are proud that we can bring a Regionally Accredited degree to students at such a low price point.

Trident's reputation among active duty military and veterans have continued to be strong. A large percentage of our student body have come from referrals. Christopher, thank you for taking the time to give Trident a review. Many schools may have the brand recognition but Trident brings a community of adult learners (many of whom are military) that is unlike any other school. The distinctive student demographic combined with our unique learning model that promotes critical thinking, clear communication and problem solving, we feel an educational experience from Trident will take you further than you thought possible.

Dear Mr. Bice, we appreciate you taking the time to detail your concerns and provide your comments. We are fully aware of the process issues some of our students have identified and we are currently working to improve and streamline each and every one of them. We apologize for any inconvenience. Sending a representative to congratulate students is a great suggestion, and in a perfect world we'd want to travel to the doorstep of each of our graduates and congratulate them on a job well done! While not the same, we do have alumni groups springing up throughout the country. We occasionally have events, and when we do, they are led by a representative from Trident. Email our Alumni Association at [email protected] for more information. In addition, Trident holds a graduation ceremony in July and we invite you to attend. Note: Hopefully we have your updated address as we plan to send you a "small gift" of appreciation.

"Compassionate Commitment" is one of our main pillars to student success so we are glad to read that our professors are meeting those expectations. Regarding your insight on course layout and materials. You have identified areas of improvement that we are fully aware need attention. There is an ongoing program to update materials, fix broken links and reorganization materials where needed. We apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your thoughts.
