We're a small group of folks that started Traveler's Joy on a stoop in Brooklyn, NY in 2004. However, it all really started in 2003 with the serendipitous meeting of our founders at the first overnight hut of the Milford Track in New Zealand. Taking the company from a muddy hike on the South Island to the world's most popular honeymoon registry in a few short years required a lot of work. Luckily we have the best team in the world! Traveler's Joy continues to grow into a new decade and we're all very excited at what the future will bring. Traveler's Joy was the best thing we could have done for our registry, it was really easy on all of our guests and we didnt have to do nothing right after registering.

My husband and I are in our 30's and are lucky enough to have all of the household items that we need. Within days of our engagement, people already started asking us about our wedding registry! Appreciating the sentiment, but also dreading the idea of registering for more pots and pans than we'll ever need, we started looking into honeymoon registries. Traveler's Joy was the most intuitive, fun and straight forward. The fees are reasonable and we liked that we were able to absorb the cost ourselves. At the end, we barely noticed the difference. We did receive some flak for doing a honeymoon registry (only from older family members who were not familiar with this "new" concept), but most everyone else thought it was so cool to pick out a personal gift of airfare, rental car, a night on the town, a hot air balloon ride, etc. When we were ready to transfer funds to our bank acct., it only took 2 days. We are now planning our honeymoon...which is FULLY covered.

For someone who already owns a home and has all the typical things that most would purchase for a registry, Traveler's Joy gave us the opportunity to allow people to still register somewhere and make it a bit more meaningful than just a check. We had an easy experience with Traveler's Joy and made for a fantastic honeymoon!

I didn't know what to expect with a honeymoon registry but everything about Travelers Joy was easy from creating the registry to depositing everything into our checking account.

I got a lot of positive feedback from our wedding guests about this registry. I was a little worried that people would be offended that we were just asking for money. But I think everyone loved that it was so easy to get us a gift. And our honeymoon ended up being totally paid for by our friends and family! Thanks Traveler's Joy!

I absolutely loved using travelers joy for my wedding registry! It was so much fun registering for activities and my family and friends really enjoyed the idea of purchasing us gifts that they knew would be treasured experiences. I highly recommend travelers joy, very user friendly site, easy to navigate and a lot of fun!
