The sizing was wrong and didn't look as advertised. I asked for a refund 3 times and never heard back from them. Definitely don't buy from this company as you are not able to return any items.

I ordered a backpack online and received an email confirmation instructing me to track the shipment on Shop. But there was no information on Shop and the item did not arrive. I called and after a ten minute hold was told they had to check and email me back. A few hours later, I got an email with a link to FedEx and a tracking number. Still waiting to see when it will arrive.
Response from Timbuk2· Oct 5, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry for the confusion with the tracking information. Our team is looking into your shipment and actively working with FedEx to get more information. We appreciate your patience while we work to get this sorted out!

To be clear: Sophia’s assistance and professionalism was superb. I am beyond disappointed in Timbuk2’s cheaply designed luggage and the hoops the company puts in place to limit how they support customers when needing repairs to a checked copilot bag that broke only after two trips. I question everything from the lack of intentionality and thought that Timbuk2’s product team put into understanding the customer journey of brand loyal customers like I was. Sophia shared that the product and design philosophy is “designed to be repaired”. If thats the case, why did it either cost $200 for me to ship my bag to a repair facility just to wait six weeks for a potential fix or to pay for the repair kit myself when its beyond self repair? Would Ford motors instill confidence in its customers if it suddenly changed its motto from “Built Ford tough” to Ford, built to be repaired? No. I will not be supporting Timbuk2 moving forward because I know everything I need to know about the lack of care that goes into creating value for customers. Covering your label with black tape on my luggage on my upcoming trip and immediately donating this roller when I’m back. I am 100% likely to give Timbuk2 an NPS of 2 and the reason it isnt a 1 is because your customer care team, Sophia in particular, provided excellent options and support. At least someone at the company wants to create value for the people who (used to) buy your products.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re glad to hear Sophia provided you with great support throughout the process. We understand how disappointing it is to have luggage damaged after only a few trips. While damage caused during airline or TSA handling falls outside our warranty coverage, we always want to help where we can, which is why we offered complimentary repair options. We appreciate your candid feedback and will be sharing it with our team as we continue looking for ways to improve both our products and repair experience.

Products are great, but the shipping is terrible. Twice have I ordered and twice has my packages have arrived almost 2 weeks later than the estimated delivery date. I don’t know if it’s the company labeling the package the wrong way or their poor selection for shipping services, but a package should arrive in a reasonable amount of time, not almost 2 weeks late.
Response from Timbuk2· Sep 25, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you’re enjoying our products, and we understand the frustration with the delivery timing. Our standard orders have a 2–5 business day processing period before shipping, and transit time after that depends on the shipping method selected at checkout. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
