Bought a thirsty robe for my husband. Practically dragged on the floor it was so long. Sent it back for exchange ($34 postage) and received a "petite" which only comes in XS, but my husband is very thin. Good length, but so skimpy that it doesn't stay closed when he sits down. So you have your choice: XXL or teeny weeny. Total of $163 wasted.

I returned to ThirstyTowels to replace a bathrobe that I purchased several years ago which my husband loved. The robe was huge. I purchased the L/XL - as I had done with the original - but the robe was very long and the sleeves were too long. I contacted their customer service - sent them pictures of the old robe and the new one - - and they suggested I send it back and that they would measure it to see if it was perhaps the wrong size. They contacted me once by phone - had not measured it and when I explained the difference in the sizes the woman agreed to do a full measuring on her end. After not hearing anything for a couple of weeks I sent an email to follow up only to receive a response that said, we put the robe back in the mail to you last week! I received the same robe I had returned the next day with a type written note that said that they found the the sleeves were 1” longer than stated on their web site and that eventually it would shrink. I am now going to take the robe to a seemstress to modify it so that my husband can wear it. I am VERY disappointed in their customer service... I will look elsewhere to replace the other robes I have purchased from them. Too bad.

These towels just keep on giving. Husband liked last purchase very much. Nice plush towels. Main problem is they keep loosing LOTS of the fabric, first in clumps when first laundered (I washed 10 + times when first purchased) and required multiple stops of the washer to clean out clumps of fabric both stuck to the towels still and clogging drainage holes in washer. Then could only dry for 10 minutes at a time as filter needed cleaning. After 2 months of use, still need to wash separately and clean drains of washer after each wash. Drying can now be done at 30 minutes before cleaning out so much from lint filter. So far still pretty fluffy.

They are decent quality but they are extremely overpriced we ended up having to pay just over $450(Canadian) for them! They didn't warn us about the extra $100 shipping charge we would be nailed with once they arrived! Plus $170 per robe is way to much. We looked into returning them and messaged the company but no one bothered getting back to us and to ship them back was a fortune. I will never purchase from this company again nor would I recommend it to anyone unless you don't mind paying this much for a couple bath robes...

The bathrobe I wanted in Oct '16 was listed as back ordered til March '17. However when I called, I was told the web page was in error, and the item was in stock. The computer kept going down; the human operator couldn't fulfill my order. After 3-4 tries with buggy online shopping cart, I finessed my order into going through. When the robe arrived, it weighed a ton (5 lbs--a lot on my 115 lb frame), which info was stated in the specs, and the color was not hunter green as advertised but more of a Kelly green. I am kicking myself for not sending it back (my hubby kind of liked the color at first) so now I'm stuck with it. :-(
