They let your "contract" expire and it doesn't revert back to the utility company like their sales people tell you. They charge you 3-4 times your normal utility bill. I live alone in a 980 sq foot house and my electric bill was $300 last month. Stay away from this company!

This company is ABSOLUTE trash and I will be looking to cancel my contract soon. I have waited darn near two months on a phone call from 2 different representatives about an account dispute and they continued to leave me out to dry. My contract expired and I was notified a month later that it had expired after my bill skyrocketed. Their customer service is extremely poor and I would not recommend this subpar company to anyone.

Moved out of state and terminated my contract. I provided proper documentation of my move however was still charged early termination fee. Contacted the company on multiple occasions and was told "itll be processed in a few days." 3 weeks later, bill is almost due and no credit for the unauthorized early termination fee.

I wanted to save cost on my new home electricity bill to my surprise. My bill jumped 64 dollars. When I called the associate was appalled as well . She said I was still responsible for initial bill plus the cancellation fee.. needless to say , I had to cancel. I recommend them putting a different ad. They only increased my bill rather helping on cost..

I would love to know why my net meter reads that I produced 1100 kwh of electricity, but your company only credited me for 524 kwh. Why is the discrepency a little over half the amount I produced? Could you answer that for me along with everyone else who seems to be pissed off with your solar programs?

Ive been with THINK for a year now... Never any issues until TODAY! I received a bill for over $800 for the month of July! They claim they sent me a renewal notice, and that my contract expired in July. HOWEVER, I have an email they sent to me on 7/23 stating that my contract was up in AUGUST!!! They are refusing to work with me and say I need to be put on a payment plan to pay the bill, DURING A PANDEMIC. Are you freaking kidding me??? I asked if I can send them the email I received, and they said no they have it!! Trying ot tell me that was an email stating that my doubnled rate cost was expiring!!?? So they plan on charging me EVEN MORE??? Ridiculous. I will be taking them to court if this is not resolved.

Absolutely the worst company ever. Never received a notice about the contract expiring, they could never prove they sent the notice, but they sure jacked the price up four times to $600. Really, these guys are the evil. Pure and simple. Avoid like the plague.

Rip off - Rip off - Rip off I went with Think to get a good rate AND I was putting in solar on my house. THINK wouldn't give me credit for the energy going INTO their system. Their meter readings didn't match the billing either. RIP OFF ALERT! after reading their reply below. STAY AWAY. I did an on question through their contact to ask about net metering. They replied they would allow net metering once approvals received. This is a company of 6 people, what a miracle of marketing! They must assign out support and communications. As I would never have signed up without the net metering. They should step up and honor their commitment, then I'll withdraw my comments.

Hi Michael, we're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with your Think Energy service. We reviewed your account after you submitted this review and we wanted to share what we've found. When you enrolled with Think Energy, you chose a standard fixed-rate plan. Normally, to receive credit for your excess solar production, customers need to select a plan that specifically allows for net metering. At the time you enrolled, Think Energy was not offering a net metering plan to the public. Additionally, the plan you chose contained no provisions about net metering or for providing credits for your excess solar production, which is why you're not receiving any credit for your excess solar production that's fed back into your local delivery system (managed by your utility company). Finally, similar to how your local utility company manages the local delivery system, they are also responsible for reading your meter. Your utility, then, reports their meter readings back to us for your billing periods. If you'd like, we can submit a request to your utility for them to re-read your meter.
