Thank you for your order and for noticing our packaging. Packaging is never really given any thought unless it doesn't hold up in transit. Most computer cases when purchased on their own, ship in boxes only designed to hold the empty computer case. Reusing that packaging doesn't work well when you populate that computer case with parts and the case is three or four times heavier than it was empty. Because of this we have designed stronger, more reliable packaging for all of our systems because the final quality and reliability of your computer only matters if it arrives safely. We look forward to working with you next again time.

Thank you for the compliment on your 2U Skylake Rackmount PC! I’m glad you love it and we appreciate your business and feedback. We make every effort to build and ship custom rackmount systems like yours 7-8 business days after order placement and it appears we shipped yours 8 days after order placement. Typically we can do better if you let us know your requirement is time sensitive. UPS Ground from our assembly location in Natick, MA to CA takes 5 business days, something to keep in mind when selecting a ship method. Regarding pricing, we believe that our computer system quality and pricing is the best in our industry. We may eventually, but do not currently sell individual computer components like memory on its own. All upgrades and accessories offered on our site with each system are assembled into, tested with and supported as part of the overall system. If you choose to buy aftermarket components and add them to a purchased computer system on your own time please make sure you select compatible parts. Also, please beware of used or non-genuine parts, have the necessary mounting screws and cables, are grounded, prepared to handle any DOA issues on your own, understand that those components you buy from an e-tailer will probably not be well supported by anyone in the event you need tech support nor will those “aftermarket” parts be covered under the warranty of the system you added them to.
