Not at all happy with the product they call 'PlushFlex Full-Encasing Stretch Sofa Slipcover'. I measured the sofa and ordered a three-seater cover as per the instructions on the website. Even though the length of our sofa was closer to the bottom of this size range, and the back of it is really low, we nevertheless struggled with stretching the cover over it, and the lower parts of the arm rests are left uncovered. The colour is dull, not like in the photos. They named it 'cocoa' but it's more like poo. The surface of the material is too 'teddy-like' for our taste. We were expecting something more refined. In the end our sofa looks like it's covered with some cheap, polyester teddy bed sheet. It's not at all snug and smooth like in the photos (AI?) but full of wrinkles and creases. Also, one of the white ties at the bottom, intended to secure the cover underneath the sofa, snapped immediately. It took more than 10 days to receive the cover (not surprising given that it's shipped from China). I definitely would not recommend this product and would not buy it again.

We're sorry to hear that the product did not meet your expectations. We understand your disappointment regarding the fit, color, fabric texture, and overall appearance of the slipcover. While our sizing recommendations are based on standard sofa dimensions, sofa shapes and armrest designs can vary significantly, which may affect the final fit. We also recognize that colors and textures can appear differently in person than on a screen due to lighting, display settings, and individual preferences. We sincerely apologize for the issue with the tie strap breaking during installation. This is not the quality standard we strive to provide. Customer feedback is extremely important to us, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your detailed experience. We would welcome the opportunity to review your order and work toward a satisfactory resolution. Please contact our customer support team with your order number so we can assist you further. Thank you for your feedback.

I reviewed the website’s size parameters for my sofa and ordered the appropriate sized sofa cover. But the cover I purchased ended up being 12” too short. Slashop said the guidelines were just approximations because all sofas were different - and they couldn’t guarantee the fit. I asked that if I gave them exact dimensions could they send me a sofa cover that fits - but they couldn’t guarantee it. When I asked about ordering a different size, Slashop said I would have to pay return shipping, the difference in price for larger size, and shipping for the new cover. There is no phone customer service, only email. And there are no names on the emails - just “customer service”. In all, although I liked the feel of the fabric, my experience with Slashop was so frustrating that I will not do business with them again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that our intention was never to require you to return the item before receiving assistance. In fact, we offered an exchange option that would not require a return of the original cover. The only additional cost would have been any price difference between the sizes. It appears there may have been a misunderstanding during our communication, and we apologize for any confusion this caused. Regarding sizing, while our size guides are based on extensive testing and standard sofa dimensions, sofa shapes, armrest designs, and proportions can vary significantly. For this reason, we cannot honestly guarantee a perfect fit based solely on measurements, and we regret that we could not provide the certainty you were hoping for. We appreciate your positive comments about the fabric quality and are sorry that the overall experience left you frustrated. Your feedback helps us identify areas where we can improve our product information and customer communication. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.

DO NOT BUY FALSE RETURN policy advertised. There is NO mention of the product being final sales anywhere on the order or when I was purchasing it. They mention discounted items are final sales but no where in the order is the same mentioned. No where when purchasing was it mentioned . They put everything on sale and then even though you purchased before, they will not allow you to generate a return label. Customer service is really bad. It is a fraud. You will have a problem even if product is defective. DO NOT BUY. THey keep giving the same reply like an automated machine, not clarifying why I was not informed in the order that the products were final sale. DO NOT BUY. Fraud company with no customer service

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. We would like to clarify that our return policy is publicly available on our website and specifies that final sale items and discounted products are not eligible for return, except in cases covered by our quality guarantee. This information is displayed before purchase to help customers make informed decisions. We understand that this policy may be disappointing, and we apologize if it did not meet your expectations. However, we strongly disagree with the characterization of our business as fraudulent. Our team works to assist every customer according to the policies published on our website. If a product arrives defective or with a verified quality issue, we do review those cases individually and work with customers to find an appropriate solution. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve both our communication and customer experience.

Pessimi.

Response from slashop.com· Jun 10, 2026

Don't buy from them. They advertised a waterproof sofa cover, and it arrived and was not the slightest bit waterproof. When I messaged them to tell them it wasn't waterproof, and asked them why they had sent me something that didn't match what they advertised and sold, they said sorry they didn't meet my "expectations" and they offered me a 40 % discount. Not helpful when I need something to protect the new sofa when the old cat pees on it, but a good scam.
