Hi DeAdra, Thank you for sharing your experience. We're genuinely sorry your previous sessions fell short of expectations, especially after you gave us multiple chances. We did want to clarify our prepayment policy, as we understand how it might feel frustrating in your situation. Shoott was created to give clients an alternative to traditional photography, where you often have to pay hundreds of dollars upfront without knowing whether you'll love the photos. With us, you can see your photos before deciding whether to purchase anything. That said, our photographers still invest their time and expertise into every session and forfeit other paying gigs to photograph our clients. To keep offering this free-upfront model sustainably, we do require prepayment for clients who have previously had sessions without making a purchase. We understand that not every photographer or session will be the right fit, and we're sorry that was your experience. We appreciate your feedback and will be reaching out directly to follow up. Warmly, The Shoott Team

Thanks so much for this thoughtful feedback, HHunt! We're so glad you've loved working with Shoott over the years, and we really appreciate you sharing what didn't land this time around. You're absolutely right that every photographer brings their own style and approach, and we know that means the experience can vary from session to session. We'd love to hear more about what you were hoping for so we can help match you with a photographer whose style feels like a better fit next time. Feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected] and they'll take great care of you.
