I had a last minute out of town trip and the locals weren't avaiable over labor day weekend. A desperation request turned out s great find for someone close. It helped that they had been verified, love animals and flexible on the hrs. Love the fact they sent photos each visit. Higjky recommend the service. The sitter is eho you choose.

Sitters are mostly great. I've used about 5- 3 were fantastic and 2 were so so. The issue is with their app and their customer service. There is no phone number to call when you have been billed wrong. The app is powered by AI and doesn't understand what you want from it. Then you wait for 10 minutes to get a live human and it takes forever because they are obviously having more than one conversation at a time. I used to get notifications at all hours of the night so I had to turn them completely off, not great when your sitter needs to cancel last minute. Over all its great until you have an issue.

II took a booking via Rover, looking after a little dog, called, Ettie. Rover have not paid me. I contacted them but they said that I had communicated with the owner directly which was not true. I have the thread of the conversation to prove it with the Rover number at the top. They have blocked my account and are now ignoring my emails. Reply I will calk you but this number is in America but I am in the Uk si can I please have a local number? Reply This UK number is of no use. It is only a number for emergency issues which is useless. I have tried 3 different ones and no one answers. So much for an emergency number. I have left 3 messages, explaining I am phoning about a non payment issue and not an emergency but there is no one to talk to and they have not phoned me back. I am getting very annoyed now as I have looked after a dog free. I have emailed yet again attaching proof of my conversation with the owner, which shows that we messaged via the Rover number provided not through our personal number which is what Rover have accused me of. I do not intend to let this drop. I will take it further. Reply I would like a time frame on 'earliest convenience'? It has now been a week since I looked after Ettie. If the matter is not resolved by Monday at the latest I intend to report Rover to the BBB. Reply I have this morning received a reply from Customer Services who are dealing with my issue. Thank you

Hola, quería darme de alta en la app, cuando estoy en proceso del mismo me piden 14€ para certificar que los datos son correctos, me niego, desactivo la cuenta, y aun así me cobran los 14€ a los que me había negado a pagar, no hay derecho… Exijo que se me devuelva !!!!!!!

Des voleurs. Ils font payer des frais d'inscription aux pet sitters qui ne peuvent pas se présenter gratuitement. Ils forcent à la réservation immediate avec des frais exorbitants par semaine. Ma petsitteuse a été bannie injustement alors qu'elle n'a jamais pu être payée. Leurs garanties d'assurance sont aussi pourries que celles que l'on a déjà avec une assurance habitation. Inutile, juste des gratteurs.
