RoadtrippersReviews of roadtrippers.com

I signed up for the $35.00 level last year. Without my consent, they autopay upped my level to Premium $59.99 and charged my account. Of course, there is no way on their website to contact them. Once burned, twice cautious. Be aware!

I cancelled my trial and this app still charged me. I've been to the bank and BBB about this company. Even though I was charged I've never had access to any premium features until I went to BBB asking for my money back. Instead of returning my money, Roadtrippers activated a premium account for their app five months after they charged my account. I never wanted the app and cancelled it on time. Instead of returning my money they gave me access to their useless app. This company is fraudulent and shady.

What a disappointing experience! The Roadtrippers site is intentionally deceptive and frustrating. They need to be much more transparent about the different plans available and what they cover. Now I have paid $60 for service I can't use and they refuse to refund. Such terrible customer service. I was really hoping this was going to be a helpful tool! Such a waste of time and money.

I signed up for an introductory account in 2025. I decided I did not want the service to renew because I found the website hard to use. I canceled the renewal the same year 2025. They offered to lower the price if I stayed but I told them I would not use the service. In Feb 2026 my credit card was charged a renewal. The only way to contact the company was by email which I did. I also went into my account and cancelled the renewal again. I have yet to receive a refund or have been contacted by the company. I was able to locate a phone number for the owner but it just goes to voice mail. I left a message but have not heard back. I have been forced to dispute the transaction with my bank. Stay far away from this company. If things change I’ll update.

Horrible customer service. They do not care about their customers. They bill without sending any notices for renewals, and although I haven't used the app for 1.5 years, they will not refund auto renewals that I did not sign up for and had thought were cancelled... obviously something didn't go through properly.

Unable to get my money worth out of the application. Automatic renewal without notice wich is very deceptive to say the least. I tried to cancel on the last day, the sytem cancelled me for the NEXT year. Unable to find a phone nb to contact. when trying to email the link direct you to a outlook account that I do not have and do not want. I wish not to have to deal with company like that , no phone nb, difficult to contact, or to contact on there own term. Stay away.

This app helped me preparing a specific itinerary for a month on the road. But I soon realised their map wasn't accurate and found myself going back to Google Maps to locate sites that Roadtripper couldn't find. I didn't use this app once during my trip and wasn't planning to renew my subscription. However I was recently charged the renewal fee of 59€ without any notification on their part and can't get any answer to my emails. Not a good app overall!!!

PLEASE THINK ABOUT WHETHER YOU ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO AUTO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP! POLICY IS: "Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry if that recent renewal caught you by surprise. Because your membership wasn't canceled before the end of your annual subscription, it renewed for another year and is now active until August 29, 2026. Our refund policy includes a 7-day grace period for renewals, but since this request falls outside of that window, we aren’t able to issue a refund. However, I’ve made sure your subscription is set to cancel at the end of this term, so there won’t be any further charges unless you choose to re-subscribe in the future." August 29th to today September 9th !!!! Really I Just saw this on my CC for renewal haven't used membership in over a year due to not being able to camp. It's only been 12 days from renewal really. Now the membership sits for 11 months Sad the way you are treated as a senior. Beware
