I went to Regenexx hoping that stem cell therapy would help me with my pains. Right from the start Dr. Williams told me that he was skeptical of my chances for relief. He told me that for about 1/3 of the cost of stem cell treatment he could run a test that would indicate my chances of relief more accurately. He took a vial of my blood and extracted the platelets from it which was then injected into 2 of my painful joints. The results were negative and he said that there was little hope of better results from stem cells. I appreciate his honesty in view of the general impression that the medical field has of stem cell therapy - not ready for prime time and many dishonest practitioners. I think you can trust Dr. Williams for an honest assessment of your chances for success.

Very professional Physician, great environment, great patient care and follow-up! These are very good and honest people. I have had Lyme Disease since 2013 and was unaware that the Lyme was causing much of the pain in both knees. Treating the Lyme and hope after it is gone the Stem Cell Transplant has been successful and my knees are better.

Dr. Jackson spent a very long time with me going over my concerns, discussing my x-rays, explaining everything he was seeing on the ultrasound (in real time), and then explaining my treatment options. When I left, I felt very informed and in control of how I wanted to manage my treatment. The procedure went very well and the clinical team did a great job of explaining the entire procedure to me and gave me realistic expectations. Dr. Jackson made sure I was comfortable and I had very little discomfort during my injections. Overall, it was a great experience!

I have had the stem cell procedure on both knees eleven months ago. I found gradual improvement as the months went by. Now that I’m about to reach the one year mark I can make an assessment on how my knees have improved. I can say that they have by 90%. The issues I had with walking up and down stairs have improved to the point where I can alternate using both my legs when taking stairs as where before it was using only one leg. The “popping” or “catching” I was having when crossing my legs has gone away. So overall I’m assessing the success of the procedure at 90 percent. The reason I’m not giving it a hundred percent is because of the arthritis that I still have . Not much that can be done about that even if I had to go the traditional knee replacements .

If you have difficulties Orthopedically please call them for a consultation before you are told you might need surgery or you are taking large doses of analgesics for pain. I have had great success with my back, knee, and foot. I have referred many and they are all experiencing relief.

It's been 10 months since I had the Regenexx procedure. While I am not completely pain free, it has improved the mobility in my left knee. While I doubt that I will ever be able to bend it back completely, it has improved my quality of life in that I can arise from a seated position with little or no pain.
