Realself helps you make an informed decision around surgery by helping patients share stories, understand better how procedures work - step by step - how to choose a surgeon, what to expect, the exact costs, the pros and cons etc. It's invaluable in a field that is quite opaque and where people feel more comfortable sharing things anonymously.

Every time I tried to access the page to look up surgeons, it wouldn’t load. When it finally did load, it took me to another page I didn’t specify. It’s only when using this website. So I took it into my own hands to find surgeons on my own.
