Today is the first day I joined Pictory.AI. Uploaded a script of about 5000 words. The video generated with horrible visuals. When I tried to change, every page would freeze and went unresponsive taking more than a minute to resume. I wasted the whole day trying different things like restarting the laptop, clearing cash and pop up etc. Reducted the script to 3000. Same story. I have sent an email to the support. I was so looking forward to finding a good tool for all my YouTube videos. so disappointed....

It's taken a long time to get used to, but now I have started to produce some good videos on TikTok and Facebook for my business. Brother Drummers. Keep up the good work guys. Charlie Farran

Sharing my experience with Pictory has become necessary due to the ongoing and increasingly exasperating issues with its performance. It's painfully slow, to the point of being nearly impossible to use effectively—a sharp decline from its once smooth operation. Every attempt to preview a 3-minute video results in a 6-minute loading time, disrupting workflow and diminishing productivity. The need to repeatedly adjust lost setups and formatting after every update adds to the frustration. Customer support responses have been disappointing, providing basic and ineffective solutions such as restarting the computer or clearing the cache, with any potentially useful advice taking up to 48 hours to receive, rendering it almost useless. This aligns with comments made by others on social media and this website, highlighting a consensus on the dire need for significant improvements or a complete operational overhaul. I have made repeated emails and complaints, yet no improvement was observed. Today, the frustration peaked when applying a voiceover to a 5-minute video took 30 minutes, only to still be "applying" by the end. Unfortunately, I had to restart the software, losing all edits in the process. After trialling InVideo AI for a month, the contrast in performance and support quality is stark. InVideo offers efficient video production and a supportive, responsive team available round the clock. Given these experiences, my decision to switch to InVideo AI is firm, driven by the need for a reliable and functional service that Pictory currently fails to provide. The platform's drastic downturn in performance and the inadequate response to these issues underscore a pressing need for either substantial improvements or a reevaluation of their business viability.

Painfully slow, to the point that is pretty much impossible to use. Until a few months ago it was fine, but since then it went DOWNHILL. Either they should improve processing capacity by a LOT or just get out of business.
