Their service wasn't bad but what they covered was almost non-existent. When they went up 32% on my premium, I dropped them. Probably going to drop the dental portion as well. On an $1100 root canal they covered $125? I can put the $38/month in the bank and pay cash as I go. Dental pays worse than their medical supplement plan.

Didn't pay claims, very little while increasing monthly premium costs. Also, does not have silver sneekers.

I was taken advantage of by the sale rep. When I first signed up for coverage from Physicians Mutual, I did not know there were other companies who MUST provide the SAME coverage with the SAME deductibles and cost $90 a month less. There is not a one time date. It has been for the entire 6 years I have been with Physicians Mutual. Your dental plan is one of the worst in the USA. Now, I am locked in for life with your company and paying an extra $1,080 a year that could be used for other necessities. Your copay at the start of the year is way too high. This started when I turned age 65, 7 years ago.

Need to be flexible in usage policy. My dentist want 3 visits a year and you only seem to pay for 2. Been a patient for 30+ years. Tend to follow dentis advice.

I had dental coverage for several years, I had automatic withdrawal for my monthly payment. In April, I had a cleaning which they covered, I had one cavity and it was fixed two weeks later and my claim was denied stating not covered for that period , even though I had automatic payment and several years of being a customer, it was denied no further explanation, so I canceled my insurance, very dissatisfied

Raise dental rates all the time and do not cover very much

On 6/25/26 I had 2 filling done the charge was 636.00 eligible charges were 449.00 they cover 174.00 and I had to pay 275.00 that’s about 40% this the worst Dental insurance I ever had.
